Affiliate Marketing Website - How To Direct Target Traffic

The World Wide Web is an incredibly large market place, and a very tough one for any business to survive in unless you find ways to direct target traffic to your affiliate marketing website.

We're going to show how to target your main audience and bring them into your affiliate marketing website with a few cyber techniques that should translate into increased sales for your business.

First, let's define the term 'target traffic'. Much like shooting an arrow into the center of a target, your target traffic is the core of your customer base, the people who are truly looking to purchase your product if only they can find your website. While many visitors may stumble upon your affiliate marketing website and pass through it, not all of them are interested in purchasing your product. Weed them out, and what you are left with is your target audience, otherwise known as your target traffic. These are your true sales prospects, so you've got to find a way to let them know you're here.

Now let's talk about search engines. Search engines such as Google and Yahoo afford internet users a way to find what they are looking for. All a potential customer has to do is type in a few key words about the topic or item they are looking for and a search engine will provide them with pages of websites that contain at least some of that search content. Once they open up a particular site, they become part of that site's target traffic.

Upon these search pages, websites will be listed from top to bottom according to how closely they match the key words typed in, and how much related content is found at their site. Since online users typically only check out the first five websites listed, you want your website up in that top five. That's basically search engine 101. Now let's examine the two main types of search engines and how they operate in order to put your company in the top five listings and increase target traffic flow into your website.

Organic Search Engines

Organic search engines operate mainly on the keyword system. The key words a potential customer types into the search bar determines what sites will be brought up for their perusal.

Simple right? This type of promotion for your website is basically free, so how can you use it to your advantage and direct more target traffic to your affiliate marketing website? Enter keyword articles.

Keyword articles are written about various subjects that pertain to a common topic, with a selected target keyword or keyword phrase strategically repeated throughout a certain percentage of the article. For example, if your affiliate marketing business sells ATV's, then articles about ATV's, ATV clubs, ATV trails, and ATV accessories would provide relevant information while at the same time using the keyword 'ATV' repeatedly. Post these articles on your ATV website, and search engines will automatically bring more ATV target traffic to your door.

You can further expand your target traffic by posting your keyword articles to E-zines that focus on your field of interest, in this example the ATV sport. Readers of these online magazines are already interested in ATV's, so getting them to your website should be a breeze once they know it's there.

Further keyword article exposure can be gained by linking agreements with other websites in your field of interest. For example, you might want to agree to a little sponsorship of an ATV club's website in order to have a direct link to your own articles and sales pages. This is just one more way to reach potential customers and drive target traffic back to your website.

It really doesn't matter what you're selling, just design your articles around your product, post them on your website, and submit them to E-zines that share your target traffic in order to increase your sales.

Pay Per Click (PPC) Search Engines

Think of this type of search engine as paid advertising. You and other online companies in the same line of business will bid against each other for temporary ownership of the best keywords and keyword phrases. The highest bidder will then have target traffic sent directly to their website when the keywords are used in that search engine, but you will pay your bid price to the search engine company each time the keyword is used. This will certainly increase your target traffic, and hopefully boost your sales as well, but it also eats into your profit margin.

Which type of search engine participation is best for bringing target traffic to your website? The quick answer is either one, but it really depends on how large your operation is, how much work you really want to put into increasing your target traffic, and how much you feel you can afford to pay for it. For large online businesses, PPC search engines are quite convenient, and a large budget may more easily absorb pay per click fees.

However, organic search engines are basically free. All you need do is come up with your keyword articles and you're sure to increase your target traffic. And if you aren't sure you can write your own keyword articles, there are companies with the expertise to provide well written, inexpensive keyword articles in the proper percentages to get you ranked high in the listings without getting you thrown out for keyword over-saturation.

Either way, knowing how to use and manipulate both types of search engines is a sure way to bring target traffic to your affiliate marketing website. The rest is up to you.

Affiliate Program Sales Techniques You Can Use

There are two different types of affiliate program sales that super affiliates constantly have to think about. Firstly they have to generate product or service sales of the affiliate program that they have joined. Secondly they have to think of the sales that will accrue from recruiting sub affiliates in their programs.

The two different types of affiliate program sales need constant attention and the implementation of good selling systems or techniques if a super affiliate is to keep on receiving their high monthly six-figure checks.

Affiliate Program Product Sales

The best way to generate high affiliate program product sales is to use relevant but high traffic generating keyword phrases. These keyword phrases will be designed to attract traffic from search engines of people searching for those particular terms. This means that you will be receiving very targeted traffic of people looking for that particular information to solve a certain problem in their life. A vast majority of them will not mind spending a little cash to buy a product or service to help them solve that particular problem.

You will get even more targeted traffic from links pointing at your affiliate site or blog from other related or relevant topic sites. It is also amazing how links from sites covering totally unrelated subjects and topics can work so well when the affiliate program represented is general. Meaning that it is the sort of product or service that virtually everybody needs.

Affiliate Program Sales From Sub-Affiliates

To win high sales from sub-affiliates and thus earn a high commission from their sales, you will need to do two things. Firstly you will need to recruit them in high numbers and secondly you will need to help them maximize on their sales.

The same methods you use for affiliate program sales can also work well in recruiting a regular flow of sub-affiliates.

You will then need to get your sub-affiliates to duplicate your successful system for high affiliate program product sales. That is how the really big money is earned by super affiliates.

Promoting Affiliate Programs through Personal Recommendations

Publishing articles online is a highly effective way to increase affiliate revenue. In the current marketing environment, it is increasingly important to differentiate yourself. Consumers have become savvier and are increasingly suspicious of pure shopping websites that send them to another site to complete product purchase. Furthermore, you may capture a consumers purchase once, but they are not likely to return to your site. Instead, they will simply return to the retailer you referred them to complete a purchase.

One, highly effective, way to attract new visitors and motivate them to return to your site later is to publish articles related to the product you are trying to promote. For example, if you are trying to promote a new portable MP3 player, you might publish a product review online and include your affiliate links in the article.

These product reviews add value to your website and can dramatically increase consumer confidence in your site. In addition, if you carefully craft your article, you can include targeted keywords which may help you achieve a higher rank in search engines. If your review is useful, users may even link to it from their personal blog, which may also increase your search engine page rank.

You may be thinking, "I am not a writer, so this strategy will not work for me."

However, if you choose affiliate programs carefully and focus your energy on products that you have a genuine interest in it becomes much easier. There are a couple of easy things you can do to increase your affiliate revenue and make your affiliate marketing strategy easier. Write articles that give more than a recommendation. You should talk directly to the consumer about how this product has impacted your life. Speak directly about your experiences with a product, tell a story about using it, ask questions that make the consumer think about how their life would be improved by owning the product.

By writing a product review, consumers will be less likely to be suspicious when you refer them to another site. In the consumers mind, you are simply reviewing the product, but are not involved in selling it directly. If your audience begins to trust your recommendations, you will find that you can sell products to them over and over again.

Now that you have written a compelling, personal article about your product, you have to make sure that other people find your masterpiece. How do you promote this article
One method of promoting your articles is to publish your own newsletter. Publish an opt-in newsletter that features a teaser paragraph about your article and a link back to your website for the complete article. Be sure to avoid sending your articles out as spam. Be patient as your subscriber list grows and only send people information they have asked for.

If you do not have a mailing list, you still have options. You can publish your article in article databases so that other newsletter publishers will run your article in their newsletter or on their website. Publish your new product review in an article database with a link to your website in the articles credits. Do a search on Google for free content and then learn how to submit your articles.

Finally, you can post your articles or product reviews on related bulletin boards and forums online. It is free and people will be able to interact with you. Of course, if you try posting an affiliate link, people will notice and you will immediately lose credibility. Simply include a link to your website in your signature. If your articles are interesting, people will visit your website where you can use your affiliate links.

In summary, provide your audience interesting, relevant content and they will trust your recommendations. If they trust you, they will buy from you. Promote your affiliate programs with personal recommendations in newsletters on relevant websites and online forums. The visitors will come, but more importantly they will buy.

Affiliate Marketing What Is It And Why Use It?

Affiliate Marketing is having Affiliates do your Marketing for you. What I mean by Affiliate is someone who tells people about your product/service and you pay them for a desired response, such as a purchase.

Affiliate Marketing is one of the best ways to get the word out about your product/service.

The best way to pay Affiliates is pay per sale. This means that you only have to pay your Affiliates when they actually make a sale. This reduces your advertising costs dramatically. your Affiliates take on all the risks so you don't have to worry about wasting your money on advertising which may not produce any results.

Using Affiliate is a very cheap way to advertise, however it is very effective. The software required to start up your own Affiliate program can cost only about $50 per month.

Then after that just wait for people to start promoting your product/service for you.

Please remember that 5% of your Affiliates will do 95% of the selling. What I mean by this is that most of your Affiliates will just sit there and do nothing. This can be countered if you teach them what to do, exactly how to do it and providing everything for them so they have to do as little work as possible.

To find out about teaching your Affiliates please see the "How To Super Charge Your Affiliates" article

You don't have to use this form of advertising just to sell your product or service. You can also use it to grow your opt-in mailing list. This is discussed in another article.

How Much Should You Pay Your Affiliates

How much you pay your Affiliates really depends on how much your product/service costs, its profit margin, how much you're willing to give up and what action you want to take place.

Lets say that your product is priced at $100. Lets also assume that it cost you $10 to make it.

This leaves you with $90 profit.

How much of this do you want to give away to the person that made this sale possible?

Personally, I believe that you should give a rather high percentage of the profits back to the affiliate (Depending on how many sales they regularly generate), because without them, you wouldn't have made that particular sale at all, so reward them for it.

A fairly decent reward is about 50% of the revenue generated. Your product is priced at $100 so a $50 commission is quite generous. It really depends on your other costs (such as a mortgage) you have, which would help decide on a fair commission to both you and the Affiliate.

Another factor which plays a part is how much additional advertising you do, such as pay per click. For example, if you rely solely on your Affiliates to Market for you, then you may want to reduce the commission you pay to them to help you survive. However, you may want to pay them more, to encourage them to send more sales you way. It really is a judgment call.

On the other hand, if you advertise in other ways effectively, then you can afford to pay higher commissions, because you're not putting all your eggs in one basket.

In the end it's all down to how greedy or generous you are. The best advice I can give you is to pay the affiliate what you think he/she deserves. Hopefully that way everyone is happy and earning their fair share.

That is the key to a successful affiliate program.

Affiliate Business: There's Nothing Quite Like It

There's no business like show business, was a popular slogan for the swinging 60s, but the popular one for the information age has to be, "there's no business like the affiliate business."

What other business can earn you an obscene income and still allow you to spend quality time with your growing children? What other business can allow you to grow such a huge monthly turnover and still not tie you down as a slave to your money-making machine?

Many online entrepreneurs in the affiliate business may not know it, but there is a very high price to pay for growing a successful non-affiliate business. You have to worry about the staff, inventory and a million other tiny details capable of causing your thriving business to suddenly go belly up without any warning.

Folks thriving in the affiliate business may not fully appreciate just how lucky and privileged they are having the sort of business where there is absolutely no limit to the sort of revenue that one can earn. And yet all you need to do is create a system of constantly generating leads and then referring them to your affiliate site or affiliate sites. Somebody else closes the sale for you, somebody else takes care of delivery and inventory and all the other hassles and troubles and headaches that go into running a successful enterprise.

Pros and Cons of Becoming an Affiliate

There are many advantages to becoming an affiliate for a company and earning a commission for sales. One of the obvious ones is you don't have to create your own product! Here is how the affiliate business works:

You first sign up with with a company after a little investigating to make sure they have good products, their commissions are good, and they are honest and will actually pay you when the sell is complete. After you find a good company to work with and sign up, you will be given a affiliate link. This is how the company identifies you and makes sure you get paid for your referrals. Then you need to get people to click on this link and they will get redirected to the company's website.

If the customer buys a product, you get paid a commission. If the customer decides to come back later and buy, don't worry! The websites software will keep track of them and you will get paid even if they come back moths later. Commission is between 1 and 100%, and its pretty common to get 50%. If you plan to only work affiliate programs some of the time, or make it your main focus, you need to have your own website! Now matter what your selling on the Internet you need to be capturing the emails of your customers. That way you can send them future promotional emails to sell the affiliate products. This list can be a great asset to you that you can only get if you have your own website.

Pros of becoming an affiliate:

You can start making money right away! Because the company takes care of everything for you but the marketing, you can put all your focus on making sales. As soon as you can get customers to their site, you are making money.

You can make more money per sale than they do. Good affiliate programs can pay 50%. This is actually a pretty good deal for you because other business expenses come out of their profits so you end up making more money from the sale then they do! Alot of the time a good company will provide you with all the marketing materials you need including pre-written emails, reports, ads, etc.

The Cons of become an affiliate

You are competing with other affiliates for sales. Other people out there are doing the same thing you are! You need to watch out for dishonest companies, or you could end up wasting a lot of time and money.

You can have your own affiliates so there is no way to increase the value of your efforts like you could if you were selling your own product.

Becoming an affiliate can also be a great way to break into a market before releasing your own product. It is also a great way to make some money if you already have a large email mailing list.
If you are looking for an unlimited income, you may want to consider developing your own product!

On Line Profits - Who Do You Believe?

I’m not sure who to believe when it comes to the world of internet marketing. Everyone claims that you’ll make money fast, and there program provides a residual income our runs on auto-pilot. All these buzz words are enough to drive you crazy. Who do you believe?

The more hype that surrounds a process the more likely you’ll be wasting you money. I prefer to go with programs that have a track record that really work. For that reason I promote affiliate programs like those offered by Amazon, ACE Hardware, Dell and other, what I call “hard good” affiliate programs.

I offer information products from Clickbank, but I do not focus a lot of effort marketing them since so many of the products are poor quality or are out dated. I have nothing against people that market these products; I just prefer to focus my effort on products that have a “tangible” value.

For each product line and sub-product niche I create low cost sites, both Blogs and regular content sites. I write a number of articles related to the product and optimize Adsense ad placement, look and feel, etc.....

Every product and site has its own optimum configuration to attain the results I am looking for.

Typically I am looking for a small return on investment for a large number of sites. I short, no “one” system works for all the products I promote. It is necessary to test and rework every site until I either find the successful combination or I give up.

There is a lot of talk about linking, and general Search Engine Optimization. I have my theories on what works and does not. But all-in-all I do not worry much about my placement in Google’s SERP. I focus on content, product offerings, keyword demand as related to anchor text and domain name. I find the domain name is probably the most important part of getting fast free Search Engine traffic.

In the end I’d rather have 100 sites making $10 per day than one site that makes $30,000 a month. People may think that’s crazy, but I don’t want all my eggs in one basket.

So my answer to “Who do you believe?”..…yourself.

How To Make Money Online With The ClickBank Affiliate Program

Affiliate programs have been the backbone of the internet work from home industry since the beginning of the internet. One of the most popular affiliate programs online today is ClickBank.

ClickBank is the online distribution center for over 10,000 digital products and services. Products marketplace are promoted through our network of over 100,000 online marketers (affiliates). Each vendor selects an affiliate commission percentage for their products in advance. Affiliates promote the products, and refer interested customers to the vendor's web site.

I have been an affiliate promoting ClickBank’s vendor products and services for several years now and they have become my number 1 paying affiliate program today.

With ClickBank every link on your web site can be a source of revenue. Use the ClickBank Marketplace to find sites that will be of interest to people who visit your web site. Products are mostly electronic e-books and or online services which require no shipping and handling charges. Some of the commission pay outs are as high as 75% of the cost of the product or service.

Just last week I came across another great affiliate program that helps you make even more money online with your ClickBank affiliate program. I’ts called AffiliateSensor. And after you have signed up to become a ClickBank affiliate, you are going to want to sign up for Affiliate Sensor as well.

AffiliateSensor creates java script for you which is very similar to a Google type ad that you can place on your website, except that it includes ClickBank links fully customizable for whatever subject your website is about. They also provide you with a clickbank mall link which includes all 10,000 plus products and services from the ClickBank affiliate program.

I just recently switched my main web server’s 404 error page over to my mall link. This if someone on my website makes a typo error or tries to go to a page that does not exist, they will be referred to my ClickBank mall instead of getting a page cannot be found error.

If you have a website that you are promoting heavily and want to make money with some affiliate programs these two are a must. You can sign up for both FREE of charge at the following web page. Affiliate Programs http://bigmoolla.com/affiliate-programs.html

Affiliate Internet Marketing Will Get You Loads Of Traffic If Your Articles Do These Four Things

If all your affiliate Internet marketing promotional articles do just these four things, then you are bound to get more traffic than you can possibly imagine, let alone handle.

i) Every Affiliate Internet Marketing Article Or Post Must Be Based On Carefully Selected Popular But Low-Competition-Keywords

When every post and entry to your blog or site is based on a certain carefully selected keyword phrase that is not too competitive, you will inevitable attract a sizeable chunk of targeted traffic from the search engines.

How do you get a keyword phrase that is not too competitive? It’s simple you take a look at how many people usually search for it and then take a look at the top sites in a search engine query for that keyword phrase. What is the ranking of those sites, how many links has Google indexed that point at that site? Is it almost the same number of links as you have? If so, you are in a good position to challenge for that keyword, so write an article or brief post quickly that shares some valuable tips and yet uses that keyword phrase.

If each keyword phrase you use attracts say, only 50 hits per day, it means that if you get just 20 similar keyword phrases, you will be able to generate 1,000 hits per day to your site.

ii) Don’t Waste Time Posting Your Affiliate Internet Marketing Articles To Low Traffic

Directories

When you can go further and ensure that you post your best affiliate Internet marketing articles at certain high traffic article directories, then you will be able to effectively do two important things. You will generate lots of highly targeted traffic immediately. This traffic will tend to be much more targeted than the one you will usually receive from search engines. Secondly, you will also be creating valuable one way links pointing at your site that search engines will index, thus greatly improving your rankings.

iii) Affiliate Internet Marketing Link-Baitng Articles Will Get You Plenty of High Traffic Links
When you can also write link-baiting articles regularly for your affiliate Internet marketing, then sooner or later your site will in the leading pack of sites as far as links are concerned. The chances are that you will not hit a home run on your first try, however with each attempt you make to write a link-baiting article or post, you will be getting closer to your home run. Sooner or later you are bound to create the sort of link-baiting article that will get other bloggers to link to your page like crazy. Some folks have ended up with hundreds of links from a single link-baiting post within a few hours.

The more controversial, the better. Study some blog posts that you have linked to recently and then try and replicate the same sort of idea.

iv) Generate Affiliate Internet Marketing Articles That Will Help You Build An Opt-in Email List Quickly

Then there are affiliate Internet marketing articles that leave the reader so amazed at what they have just learnt and hungry for even more information. When you suggest that they subscribe to your regular email newsletter or course, many will not hesitate and that is how you quickly build an opt-in email list that will help you sustain your traffic and affiliate product profits.

When you can practice all these four article techniques regularly for a couple of months, you will be absolutely amazed at how successful your affiliate Internet marketing will become and how quickly your affiliate income will take off.

Be an Affiliate and Make Money from Another Site

You don't have to have a product or service of your own to sell on the Internet; you can make money by selling someone else's!

An affiliate program is when a merchant pays you to send someone to their website.

You can be paid a specific amount per sale that you generated, or a click through to their site from yours.

To find an affiliate program that is right for you, two sites can help. One is Commission Junction and the other is LinkShare. These companies help you to find suitable affiliates, apply and manage the programs from their site and even send you one ticket for both affiliate link sites.

Banners will help you make money on your site and they are easy to find.

These banners direct people from your website to the affiliates. Statistics are kept on how many visitors your website directs to them and any sales that come from those visits.

Banners are easily placed on your website, each company will give you specific directions on how to add their banner.

There are seven steps to becoming an affiliate salesperson.

1 Choose what type of website you want.

Be sure it will be of interest to a wide variety of visitors.

2 Choose a domain name that will help you establish
your identity.

3 Find a reliable web host.

You can't make money if your web host is always
breaking down.

4 Build your web page, start out small, and add to it as
you begin getting more affiliates. You can start with
only one page and start making money.

5 Find affiliate programs to join.
One of those to check out is Google's AdSense.

6 Start sending people to your site, market, market, market!

It won't grow without some help from you.

Visitors have to go to your site before they visit one you
are affiliated with.

7 Be patient. The money won't roll in overnight. You can
become a top earning affiliate but it takes work on your
end as well.

Affiliate marketing can be a moneymaker for your site. Pick the affiliates that you best associate with and run with the market.

Affiliate Marketing Payment Types Defined

So you've decided you want to take the leap into affiliate marketing, but all those terms are so confusing. You want to know exactly what you'll make each time you sell a merchant's product. Well, look no further, here's a tip sheet with all those options defined.

Percent of Sale

When you sell a merchant’s product, you receive a percent of the sales price. The range for this can be from three percent to as high as seventy-five percent. The majority of programs are set up using this method.

Pay per lead

Some merchants that have a longer sales cycle will offer this type of program. They pay you for the prospect who has come to their website via your affiliate link when the prospect takes a certain action such as filling out a form to get on a mailing list. The range for pay per lead programs is typically from fifty cents to fifty dollars.

Recurring Income

Common among membership sites. The merchant pays you a set amount (or percentage) on a continuing basis as long as the customer you referred remains a customer.

Residual Income

Commissions that continue to pay you each time the customer you referred buys from the merchant. You actually become the virtual "account manager" for the customer except there’s no ongoing work involved. Once your customer is referred and buys the merchant’s product, the merchant remembers who referred the customer and you get commission for all the future sales.

Two Tier

Good if you not only want to promote the merchant product, but also the merchant’s affiliate program. In a two-tier program, you get paid when anyone who joins the affiliate program using your affiliate link makes a sale.

Ad revenue

The premier network for serving text ads on a website is Google AdSense but there are many ad networks that offer a variety of options including both MSN and Yahoo! If you're looking for long term consistent cash flow sources, recurring income, residual income and two tier programs provide good opportunities for you. However, any affiliate program promoted properly has the potential to provide you with good passive income.

Extreme Payout Affiliate Business

If you have been looking for or have tried some affiliate programs already, you are going to love this bit of news.

I searched far and wide on the web to find an affiliate program that actually over delivered when it came to product quality and compensation package. Needless to say I was met with more dissapointment than results. So I created my own and tailor made it to deliver on all counts. Here then is the run down:

I first designed a product that had mass appeal and yet had very little existing competition on the web. The product solves a common problem for a huge portion of the people that own digital cameras today.

The problem is that most people have a massive amount of digital photos stored in folders all over their hard drive and have no easy way to organize, display and share them with friends and family.

Most people don't want the learning curve associated with digital photo album software or the hassle of displaying them online either. If the problem was to be solved, it would have to provide pre-designed albums that could be easily filled with a few mouse clicks. There would have to be a wide range of pre-designed albums based on every theme that photos were commonly taken of.

Such as themes like, birthdays, holidays, special ocassions, school, anniversaries, weddings, sports, fishing, hunting and so on.

The learning curve would have to be virtually eliminated and the completed albums would then have to be able to be shared freely with friends and family by email so the file sizes would have to be kept to a minimum.

On the other hand, a great product like the one described above was only half of the final solution. Promoting this new product would take a special system if it was to be able to reach such a wide market effectively. So I set out to create an affiliate program that is second to none on the entire web today.

An affiliate program that paid out so well that even an average salesperson could truly benefit by it. One that didn't limit you to trudging the streets every month to keep your income up. One that a good salesperson could actually support a family on. One that was backed with marketing ideas allowing you to create a sub affiliate sales force and one that paid you for recurring payments after only making a one time sale.

I know that this sounds very good and you are likely wanting the actual details by now so here they are. I am proud to say that I have indeed succeeded in creating the product and the affiliate system as described above in the form of a membership site. Members can then choose albums from a wide inventory instead of paying for each album they use.

1) The only people invited to promote this system are active members of the site. There are actually no links to the affiliate system except inside the membership area. It is, however, free to join.

2) The program operates on two tiers as described below:

a) Tier 1 are sales that you directly make and you are awarded a full 30% RECURRING commission for thos sales. That means you make the sale once and then get paid every month there after as long as that person remains a member.

b) Tier 2 allows you to recruit sub affiliates and be awarded a full 10% RECURRING commission on teir sales as well for as long as those members remain active.

If you are having a hard time imagining how profitable this really is, then runn a few number scenarios for yourself and you will be soon clammering to find out where to sign up. To see just how much this program actually over delivers on paying it's affiliates, do a little comparison online with other programs and again you will end up clammering to find out where to sign up.

How to Create High Ranking Affiliate Sites

Ever wondered how the big boys make so much money with affiliate programs? Here's some ideas to get you started on your own affiliate marketing business.

You will need to spend some time researching the best paying affiliate programs. Affiliate programs that I have used are Commission Junction and Clickbank. Commission Junction sell hard goods whilst Clickbank sell information products and software. Both programs have some high paying affiliate products.

Before you create any web pages or choose a domain name, you need to do some research. Take time to decide what sort of product you might wish to sell and then locate an affiliate program related to your chosen product. For example, if you have an interest in dogs, then you might choose an affiliate e-book about “Dog Training”. Make a note of all the relevant products and what your commission will be.

How to find your affiliate program

Commission Junction

You can search their programs by advertiser name or products. Hence, in our example of "dogs", you could search on the “products” box for this and find merchants who are selling this.

They also have a very useful tool called the EPC, which reflects how much has been earned for every 100 clicks. For example, if the EPC is $5, this would mean that for every 100 clicks, Commission Junction has paid out $5.

Now it's just simple maths, if you refer 100 customers to this program each day, you can expect to earn $5, 200 customers earns $10 and so on.

This is just a rough estimate of traffic, but it certainly helps in choosing one merchant over another, when they’re selling the same or similar products.

Also, it will depend on how relevant the advert is to your site. In our example, a “vegetarian dog food” advert placed on a site about dogs is likely to be more successful than one placed on a site about home cooking!

Clickbank

Visit CBmall.com to search the products that Clickbank have available. Again, you might search for "dogs" and come up with "dog training" products to market online.

Then create a mini-site focused on your product. Visit ez-search-engine-optimization.com and download Andrew’s free book on “Creating Niche Sites” for step by step instructions to creating a site which is highly attractive to the search engines.

Buying traffic

A quick way to get traffic to your site is to pay for clicks from either Overture or Google. Buying traffic is a numbers game and is only likely to be profitable if you are selling something of a high value.

If you are selling an e-book for which you get paid a $25 commission fee and you are converting 1% of your visitors into sales, you can afford to pay up to 25 cents per click. Ideally you’d pay less than this so that you can make a profit!

How to Become a Successful Affiliate Marketer

Affiliate marketing is not an easy task to master for those who are just starting their new online business and wish to make money with affiliate programs. There are many software tools and guides that teach you how to do it, but a lot of them are worthless and simply waste of money.

To become successful in this industry you need to learn about some most effective techniques that can make your online business profitable. The most known affiliate marketing techniques are email marketing, pay per click, search engine optimization, and joint ventures.

Email marketing is probably the most effective way of promoting affiliate programs or your own products. If you have an opt-in list of thousands subscribers to send a promotional email to, you can make a nice amount of money within short period of time. But how do you build a list of subscribers of that caliber? First you need a tool that will be able to manage this many subscribers and email them all at once. I highly suggest AWEBER.COM which provides great service for marketers. With AWEBER.COM you can manage unlimited amount of lists in one place which is really neat and convenient. Next you need to have a website where you will be able to offer a subscription to your visitors to a free newsletter or whatever you want to offer.

Once you get traffic to your website you will build your opt-in list to promote your products to.

Pay per click method is the easiest and the fastest way to profits. You must remember that it
can get very expensive to promote affiliate programs this way. Sometimes cost per click on Google Adwords can reach dollars per click. You need to be careful if you decide to get into this industry and make sure the product you are promoting will convert into sales to cover all the expenses and bring profit. How do you start promoting on Google Adwords and is there valuable information to help you get started? Yes, you can find some great e-books written on that topic by reputable marketers like Perry Marshal, or Chris Carpenter. You should visit affhelper.com/google-adwords.html for some great reviews of products and services that will help you get into this form of advertising.

Search engine optimization can be the most profitable way of making money with affiliate programs because of the free highly targeted traffic from search engines like Google, Yahoo, and Msn. If you can optimize your website for top 10 search engine rankings for some high traffic keywords, you could have a constant flow of visitors to your web site which would result in constant flow of sales and money in your pocket. How can you do that though and compete with some of those gurus that keep doing it constantly and laugh at others. See, you do not need special skills to do it. All you need is the will to get there and patience. Almost every marketer online is using some kind of software that helps him with search engine optimization and get high rankings. You should arm yourself with those tools and use them for your website just like they are. For some unbiased reviews visit affhelper.com/search-engine-optimization.html where you will find many great tools and guides to jump start your business and get you seen by search engines like Google, Yahoo, and Msn.

Joint venture is another great way to market your product and get it to profits over night. What is a joint venture? Let's say you just created a product and you have your sales page and everything set up. Now all you need is traffic to start making sales right? What if you don't have the time for search engine optimization, money for pay per click campaigns, or even your own list to send announcement of your product or service? This is where a joint venture partner comes in. Joint venture partner is someone who has, for example, a huge list of subscribers where he can send out emails to. All you have to do is ask him to help you market your product to his members for a nice commission on every product sold through him. This way you can start making sales with your website immediately with no cost on your part.

Above you read about some of the most known ways of promoting products or affiliate programs online to make money. You should research them for yourself and get the most out of them for your own web site business. Affiliate marketing is booming right now and you should get your share of this profitable industry. People spend more money online every day and soon the internet will be the biggest market to sell products.

Buying The Cow: The Pros and Cons of Paid Affiliate Sign-ups

"If you can get the milk for free, why buy the cow?" This rather crass question became popular in the late 1970's, when many couples chose to live together without the benefit of marriage. Similarly, today's affiliate marketers tend to favor programs that offer no sign-up fee, especially when so many include support, personalized websites, back-office marketing, etc.

And, too, there are programs that offer nothing more than an ID link and a few banner ads on a login page. In fact, seemingly sophisticated marketers are often offended by a program that requires an up-front investment. And for good reason: the marketer is already investing time, effort and their own marketing system (i.e., money) to promote a given program-- an additional investment seems as if the company is taking advantage of them.

And some do. But not all of them.

In fact, online companies that offer affiliate programs can be divided into roughly three different categories: Those that offer free sign up; those that offer a free sign-up but require some kind of back-end fee; and those that require an up-front investment from their affiliates, as well as a back-end fee. The reasoning behind each strategy varies from program to program and should be considered along with the qualities of each. But, in general terms, these are the basic strategies behind them:

FREE SIGN-UP PROGRAMS

This kind of arrangement is usually offered by those companies that offer little, if any, hands-on support for their affiliates. They supply the link and a login-secure page on their site with several advertising tools, possibly with an automatic payment system, such as through ClickBank or Storm Pay.

These companies are generally small -- possibly only one or two people -- and are hoping to capitalize on the affiliate marketing system with little or no effort on their part. Generally, too, they offer only one product or promotion. For the marketer, unless volume sales are huge, they can expect to make only a few dollars from these types of programs. But, if all they have to do is put an affiliate link on their website to generate sales, this is sufficient for the marketer. Also, a very small percentage of companies in this category offer an MLM system.

PRO: These type of programs are a quick and easy way to cash in on a new product or trend, provided one learns of it early.

CON: Once the market is saturated, sales reduce to the point where even the small space the link takes up on their webpage becomes a loss. Also, unless the company is sound -- as well as responsive to its affiliates -- there is always a chance it could fold up and disappear before the marketer ever sees any actual cash for his or her sales.

FREE SIGN UP WITH BACK END PAYMENT PROGRAM

This is the most common type of arrangement and the companies that employ this seem to be trying to utilize the "best of both worlds" approach. Either the company will offer initial sign-up for free with incentives to upgrade, or they will charge for "extras" in lieu of sales or a downline (in the case of MLMs). Essentially, these companies are "straddling the fence", that is, trying to find a way for the affiliates to cover their own expenses without making an "up-front" investment.

PRO: Programs like this often forego charges once a marketer creates a certain amount of sales or take the charge out of commissions, both of which give the marketer an incentive to make a minimum amount of sales. The companies that use this type of program usually offer adequate back-office support such as a support staff to answer questions, payment schedules that are adaptable to each marketer and regularly updated promotional materials. They also tend to be better established than the completely-free-program companies and often have a physical contact address and telephone number for questions or problems.

CON: Without sales or a downline, marketers are often paying much more in the long run than many up-front investment programs charge. Also, in the case of companies that ARE well-established, a new marketer may be unknowingly entering a field that is fully saturated with other, well-established and more experienced marketers. This makes obtaining the sales they need especially challenging, particularly for the newer marketer. Getting their foot in the door becomes a challenge of its own.

THE UP-FRONT INVESTMENT PROGRAM

These are less common than in the past but still exist -- and, in fact, are still being created -- under certain, specific circumstances. The company that opts for this arrangement may use up-front investment as a way to "pre-qualify" its marketers, hoping to capture only the most professional and serious-minded marketers. They usually offer higher than average incentives and may also have a high-demand product in which the company has already invested heavily themselves. And, too, they may be budgeting for future advancements and product placements, as well as creating support teams specifically designed to help the marketing staff alone. These companies will often include -- to help off-set the investment -- many back-office features not usually offered to marketers in other programs. And, without exception, these companies offer higher-than-average commissions.

PRO: Programs such as this offer more promise to actually obtain the kind of income that has become infamous (not to mention synonymous) with internet marketing. Also, bonuses or other payment arrangements that allow the marketer to make higher than average commissions.

Back-end support is usually top-notch including, in some circumstance, the marketer is treated as an actual employee. Some even include benefit packages and other employee-like perks. The product or product line is something in high-demand and/or has a high rate of sales.

CON: The up-front investment obviously causes start-up marketers to turn away. Also, competition from serious marketers who have well-established sites makes succeeding in this field challenging. Further requirements after joining the program that may increase the challenge of succeeding. Due to their inherent popularity, a short time-frame in which joining this type of program is viable in terms of ROI.

In choosing individual programs, a marketer must decide which type is best for them, regarding their resources, their own marketing strategy, the overall ROI (return on Investment), and based on their advertising campaign/budget. Many marketers choose a mixture of these programs in order to minimize their investment while maximizing their return.

Oh and, by the way? In case you're wondering, many of those couples in the 1970's that started out living together, ended up getting married after all. So, what does that say about getting the milk for free?--mo

5 Things You Must Have to Succeed in Affiliate Marketing

The idea of being mere passengers on a ship meant to sail to the farthest points does not appeal to people who like to put their destiny into their own hands. They have the desire of maneuvering the ships themselves, of being able to be the ones to take it anywhere they want to. Being aboard a ship on its way to a particularly great destination is something each and every one of them dreams of, and the knowledge that they have the capacity to steer it themselves is what makes them actually want to.

Perhaps this is the reason why more and more people are succumbing to one of the most popular businesses around – affiliate marketing. It is because in this business, there are no bosses to order the employees around. There are no deadlines to meet and no clutter of work do to. One only needs to be equipped with the tools needed to succeed in a business such as this, and he is bound to get what his heart ultimately desires.

Just what are the things needed to be able to succeed in affiliate marketing? What must one have within himself to be able to do well in this industry? There is a lot of competition involved in affiliate marketing, and to be able to rise above the norm, one must be equipped with just the right stuff necessary to propel him forward. There are five things one must ultimately possess if he wants to achieve the glory he is yearning for in this business, and these five things are a must for him to possess to be able to stand out among the rest.

The very first quality one must possess if he wants to try his hand in affiliate marketing is the willingness to learn and be trained. Treading through unfamiliar territory is scary stuff if one is not properly equipped, and he might get lost amidst a jungle of the unknown. Learning the tricks of the trade is also an important aspect of the game, and one’s willingness to know it all will give him far better advantages in the business than he could ever imagine.

The second quality one must possess is the willingness to invest time and effort even if direct results do not seem at all apparent. Although several months may pass without good news, it is important for one who has his foot in the industry to hold on and wait. It is this quality which would save him from giving up after investing a lot of himself in the business.

The third quality one must possess is self-determination. If one wants to conquer the affiliate marketing world, he must have the ability to push himself ahead. Never having to say die is a quality each and every affiliate marketer should possess, and the ability to motivate oneself into scaling greater heights is an ability which would actually take an affiliate marketer there.

The fourth quality one must possess is discipline. If one knows how to teach himself to work everyday with all the energy he can muster, then he is close to achieving what he has set his heart to having in the first place.

The fifth and last quality one must possess is optimism. Negative attitudes and hearsays should not discourage an affiliate marketer from pursuing what he has to in order to make life better for himself and for everyone concerned. Neither should anyone influence his attitude toward the business, because once in it, it is a must for him to be the captain of his ship and the master of his soul.

The ingredients to success in a business such as affiliate marketing are diverse and manifold, but the most important thing one needs to be able to make it big lies in himself alone. It is he who has the capacity to do everything to be able to realize his prospects, and the desire which fuels his heart in doing so is the gasoline which should keep the engine going.

Affiliate marketing is all about putting one’s fate into his own hands. The right attitude is the key to being able to steer one’s ship into that part of the ocean where a certain kind of serenity can be found, one that permeates the atmosphere as the ship sails calmly on.

The End of Google's Affiliate Programs?

When Google launched their referral buttons, Darren over at Problogger.net raised a pretty interesting point.
He speculated on whether Google’s link-up with Firefox marked the start of a range of affiliate products for publishers that Google were planning to roll out.

Now that the buttons have been around for a while, I have to say that I’d be pretty surprised if Google decided to try out any more.

I’m not aware of anyone making any serious money out of them. The ad units are great. The link units can do pretty well. The image ads not so much. And the referral buttons might buy someone a small coffee once a month... provided they have an audience which has never heard of Firefox.

The real problem with the referral buttons we were offered was that they just weren’t very competitive.

There’s a whole range of different affiliate programs that we can sign up to online and the payment terms that Google was offering just didn’t beat what was out there -- a dollar for a download? One hundred dollars when someone you’ve signed up for AdSense breaks a century? You’ll probably do better sending people to some dating site or pushing books at Amazon.

The buttons don’t do any harm. But I don’t think anyone really expects them to do a great deal of good either.
The fact that we haven’t seen any additions to these programs suggests that Google has picked up the message that affiliate programs just aren’t their strong points. In fact, I don’t think AdSense has produced anything yet that beats the basic ad unit. That was a killer idea... and no one’s beaten it yet. We’ve had a few false starts when companies have brought out some attractive new products but the bottom line is that it’s still the good old AdSense ad unit that’s keeping those fat checks coming in.

That doesn’t mean that Google shouldn’t be looking for new ways to make us all a little richer. But they need to be original if they’re going to make it work, and do something that no one else has done.

Or they can just focus on rolling out new formats and adjusting the Smart Pricing so that my prices go up. I’d be happier if they just did that than offer more affiliate buttons.

How to Make Great Affiliate Money Without a Website

There is an affiliate money making method that thousands of Internet Entrepreneurs use which requires no product, no stock, no Website and no huge investment of time or money.

Quite simply you advertise affiliate programs using Pay Per click (PPC) advertising such as Google Adwords.

On Affiliate merchants such as Clickbank there are thousands of informational products that will pay $25+ per sale to the affiliate who referred the customer.

Quite often Affiliates promote these links by creating a website and/or email distribution list.

But these methods take a long time, effort and money to get set up and lack flexibility.

What the smart Affiliate marketers do is create an ad using a PPC ad that costs very little money per click. This ad links directly to the vendor’s sales page with the affiliates unique link (this tells the vendor it was you that sent them). If the visitor purchases the product at this time or shortly afterwards you the affiliate make a referral fee.

Let me give you an example: -

You’re a keen golfer and one day you come across an Ebook, which is the best golfing instructional manual you’ve ever read. It cost $55 but you consider it well worth the money as your golf has improved to a level you never thought possible.

It makes you think there are millions of golfers across the world that all want to improve their game. Many will be looking on the Internet for tips and instruction.

You visit the sales page again and see that at the bottom there is a link for affiliates. You follow the link and see that the author sells his product through the Clickbank network. Each affiliate gets $30 of any sale they refer.

You do a bit of research and see that thousands of people search on the Internet via the search engines for instruction on how to improve their golf swing. You set up a ‘Google Adwords’ account for free and play with some of the golf improvement keywords your search engine research brought up. You find that the keyword phrase ‘golf perfect swing’ although entered by thousands of budding golfers each month doesn’t have that much competition in Adwords and you can purchase a Adword PPC ad that will show up towards the top of the Google result page when someone enters ‘golf perfect swing’. If someone clicks on your ad they will be directly to the Ebook sales page but via your affiliate ID. Therefore if anyone purchases the book after arriving from your ad you stand to make $30.

As you’ve done your research well you’re only charged 10 Cents for each click on your ad.

Therefore as long as you get one purchase per 299 people who click on your ad you will make a profit.

The reality is that as Search Engines provide extremely targeted traffic and Sales pages today are very good you will more likely make at least 3-5 sales per 100 people that click your ad.

Therefore if 300 people click your ads you could make $450 at a cost to you of just $30. A profit of $420!!

The great thing about doing your affiliate marketing in this way is that it is extremely flexible. Quite often fads will come and go in the space of months. Marketing them in this way allows you to jump on when the fad starts and jump off immediately it stops making you money.

With thousands of affiliate programs out there some with lifetime earnings and tiers the possibilities are endless.

Make Money on the Internet Using Affiliate Marketing

For many website owners who do not have a product or service of their own to sell, it can be hard to make money online. Sure, you could sell advertising space, but unless you attract a large amount of traffic to your site, nobody will pay you a pretty penny to have you advertise their site. So, you don't have any product or service to sell and advertising wont bring in an income worth celebrating over. What do you do now? The solution is simple: Affiliate Marketing.

Affiliate marketing is a simple concept and millions of websites rely on affiliate marketing to bring in the bulk of their sales. Basically, you try and sell other people's products for a commission. Commission can be anywhere from 5 to 75 percent of the price of the product.

Generally speaking, your software, information products, and services provide the highest rate of commission. It's easy finding products in those categories that provide 50 to 75 percent commission!

The most effective way to convert your traffic to sales is to make sure that the products and services you are advertising on your website target your visitors. If your site deals with automobiles, trying to market someone else's cook book will fail and if I could take a bet, generate zero income.

Another helpful tip is to make sure your advertisement doesn't look like an advertisement.

People do not visit your site to pay any attention to the banner ads placed everywhere. They visit your site for information on what you provide. If your site deals with online dating, write several reviews on different online dating services out there on the Internet with links to the services.

So exactly how does this work? How do these people know that you are the one responsible for the sales lead and not somebody else? When you sign up as an affiliate for different products and services, you are given a special link to place on your website. When one of your visitors clicks your link, the website you are referring visitors to knows that the visitor came from your site.

Then, if the visitor purchases that website's product or service, you are credited for the sale and earn the commission.

When looking for a product to market as an affiliate, visit some websites selling products or services that relate to your website's information. Many of these sites will have affiliate programs and have a link placed on their site with information on how you can sign up to be an affiliate with them. Many of these sites use commission services like Commission Junction and Clickbank to take care of all the commissions, so it might be a good idea to go ahead and sign up with these services. Once signed up with them, you will find many other products and services to promote relating to your website's content.

Affiliate marketing along with selling advertising on your website (check out Google Adsense) is an amazing and very profitable way of generating income for your site. It cost nothing and there is no inventory to keep. It's all pure profit. What could be better?

4 Steps To Unleash The Money Within Solo Ads

People endorse other products for a many reasons. Sometimes to sell affiliate products for commissions, promote a joint ventured product or other times, for an advertising space they sold. Solo ad is a single advertisement in an email published by the owner of an ezine/newsletter to his lists of subscribers.

Why does it work more effectively than the others? You can fully personalize your solo ad and it'll be sent out in only one single email, which lets the readers focus only on the solo ad. This highly increases the response of the advertisement and gives you a high edge compared to other ads which are hardly noticed.

Here we're going to mention what kind of solo ads sell and what factors are important. The process of publishing a solo ad:

1. Choose a newsletter or e-zine to send out your solo ad

2. Write a solo ad

3. Create an effective or catchy title

4. Put up the website where your visitors will go

1. Choosing the right newsletter or e-zine This is an extremely important step. Whether or not your readers will be interested in your solo ad depends on what group they are. You must choose a huge targeted list of subscribers to send out your solo ad, usually one with more than 5,000 people.

If you want to find targeted e-zines/newsletters where you can advertise your solo ad, simply make a search on Google with your niche market's keywords and go to the popular or high ranking websites. From there, find the links that say "advertising" or "advertise with us", and the rest is pretty self-explanatory.

2. Writing a solo ad Most people are tired of seeing advertisements over and over again, they can sense it right away on the first look followed by a click on the delete button. So how do you make a difference with your solo ads?

Write a story, that's all! Humans are drawn into stories since they were born, we'll read any stories which are interesting. Write about how you have started before you have this experience, and what happens after. It has been said that the best solo ad never sells a thing, it only pre-sells and warm up the readers.

3. Coming up with the perfect title Ever been to a book store? If you are not attracted to the headline of a story book on its cover, will you even bother buying it next? Hardly, and that is why you need to keep your readers hooked.

4. Design the website where your visitors will go It is common that people always send readers of their solo ads right to the main sales page, a big mistake, instead. You should always let these "personally invited" visitors feel that they are special, for having the front-edge against the other normal visitors.

Greet them cheerfully, and roughly tell them your success with the product you mentioned in the solo ad, and always take advantage of asking them to opt into your subscriber list! This is very crucial, every penny or effort you spent for the solo ad is to benefit as much as you can from it, but not the extent of people getting tired, of course.

Again, tell the stories, interesting stories. You will realize that people will want to buy from you so much just because they feel closer to you. Do this right, and you can have an overnight success with your solo ads.

Affiliate Marketing For Maximum Profits

I see many newcomers to affiliate marketing that have great looking web sites but the keys to affiliate marketing for maximum profits are locked away in the drawer.

One of the biggest mistakes you can do as an affiliate marketer is trying to promote to many products right off the start, rushing to make big profits in a short amount of time. Because there are so many affiliate programs that are easy to join it is easy to get trapped in this situation defeating your main purpose of making profits.

The ideal situation is to choose a product or service that appeals to you, then spend the time to research the product thourghly to see what the demand is and if at all possible buy the product first before signing up for the affiliate program to evaluate the product to see that it is everything the author claimes it to be. By evaluting a product yourself you can give your customers the product information they are looking for, how they can benifit from this product and by pointing out the downfalls if any, you will gain there trust and assurance with your honest evalutation for a possible sale.

Selecting one affiliate program that pays the highest return for a sale is better than choosing several with lesser payouts that reflect the same amount of profits. By taking this approach you are getting to know the products or service you promote better and will be able to target them for a more efficient advertising campaign such as testimonials, Email, pay per clicks or getting search engine listings and keyword ranking.

Once you have effectively promoted a product you can sign up for other affiliate programs using the same method to build an empire of affiliate product over time, maximizing your profits as you go and avoiding the costly mistake of making to little affiliate profits with to many affiliate programs.

How to Create $5,000 per Month Online Using Only Email...

Have you ever thought about a specific amount of money you *think* you need, to feel what it's like to experience success? ...

Go back and read that question again.

Most haven't, but chances are if you have, it's pretty close to $5,000 a month.

I recently ran a survey to a handful of my best customers, asking them how much money they'd have to make to call themselves successful in their online business...

Out of 113 surveyed, 42 responded with at or around $5,000 a month. 18 of the 42 specifically mentioned passive, or residual income in the amount of $5,000 per month.

Thirty-seven percent of those surveyed wanted $5,000 per month, while fifteen percent wanted it in residual income.

As you continue to read this article, you will learn about a rock solid, tried, tested and approved nine-step strategy for easily acquiring $5,000 per month online using only email...

1. Find an affiliate program that pays instantly, or at least twice a month.

2. Join the affiliate program and calculate your Dollar Value Commission divided by 5,000. This will give you the total number of sales you need to convert from your affiliate link each month.

[Example: 5,000 / $33.50 = 150 sales per month]

3. Take your number of sales per month, and divide by four. This gives you the number of sales
needed per week. [Example: 150 / 4 = 38 sales per week]

4. Take your sales per week and divide by seven. You now have the number of sales needed per day... [Example: 38 / 7 = 6 sales per day]

5. Now create your Simplified Target Statement:

Example: "In order to acquire $5,000 per month, I am attracting 6 sales per day, 7 days per week -- this or something better!"

6. Print out this statement, take a red pen and circle it. Trace the circle a few times with the pen to "cement" the the idea firmly in your mind.

7. Tape it to your computer desk, or keep it somewhere near you. Preferably, you want to see it during the morning, afternoon and night if possible.

8. Go to MBPAdvertising.com and run a solo ad inside a publication. Keep a record of what publications pull sales, and keep buying ads in those ezines until your campaign becomes unprofitable.

9. Buy more ads from different sources. MyWizardAds.com and DirectoryOfEzines.com can both provide excellent resources for advertising in online publications.

Within one week of each campaign, find out which publications to keep advertising in, and which ones to drop by calculating the revenue minus advertising cost of each referred sale. For example, if Ezine A ran my ad and it received 34 sales generating $1,139 in commissions, and I paid $149 to run the ad, I made $990.00 in pure profit.

Obviously, I made more than I spent to acquire those customers, so my campaign is considered profitable. This is ALL that matters. If you're making more than you're spending to get customers, you're golden!

People often get caught up and frozen in details that really don't matter anyway.

All that matters is that you make more than you spend to acquire new customers.

Granted, some can afford to lose money on acquiring new customers because they have a well thought out follow up strategy to pick up the profit on the back end.

This may seem basic... and it is. But if you can apply 100% of your focus to a Simplified Target Statement without worrying about the details... you will reach your target and acquire the exact amount of income you're after.

Sure, there are many other things you could do to acquire just six new customers per day, with a commission of $33.50 per sale -- but you don't need it.

Stick to the basics. They're basic, because they are fundamental principles that work.

I can't tell you how long it'll take you to reach your $5,000 per month reward.

But this simple method can make earning that lifestyle closer than ever before.

Think about it. With a $67 product at 50% commission, you're just six sales per day away from a $5,000 per month experience that'll change your life.

Affiliate Tip – Create A Free Ecourse

Free ecourses are a win-win situation for both you and your visitors. The ecourse is a great way to capture your visitors’ email address and provide them with content that they were looking for while also offering your affiliate products repeatedly.

Your visitors will appreciate receiving the information they were looking for in their inbox every few days.

An ecourse is generally a series of 5 to 7 related articles on a particular topic that you load into your autoresponder. You will be able to incorporate one or more affiliate products in each lesson of the ecourse, while providing your reader with great information.

I like to use an ecouse to promote one particular affiliate product throughout the entire ecourse.

These are usually products that pay me a decent commission per sale. They also tend to be pricier items that the customer may not want to buy on a whim from a stranger. The ecourse allows me to show my readers that I know what I am talking about and gives me a chance to gain their trust by establishing myself as an expert in the field that the ecourse covers.

Of course you can also promote several related affiliate products, in your ecourse. Each of them could provide a solution for a problem that you are addressing in your ecourse.

Determine what topic or related topics you want to cover in your ecourse. Start by writing an introduction article that gives your subscriber an idea of the overall topic and what you will be covering over the next few days. Next you launch into your actual lessons, or articles and finish your ecourse with a quick recap and some information on where they go from here. This could involve recommending additional resource books, products or sites (which will of course pay you a commission if they buy) or offering them more great information on your own website.

Once you have your content ready, load the individual lessons in your favorite autoresponder (like aweber.com) and add a signup box to your site. Or to be even more effective, create a separate landing page for the ecourse that highlights the benefits of the course and what the reader will learn. You can get subscribers by linking from your main page to the landing page, writing articles that use the link to the ecourse sign-up page in your byline, or by purchasing ppc or other advertisements.

Watch your affiliate income grow with every ecourse you create and with every new subscriber that joins your ecourse. The beauty of creating ecourses is that you do the work once, and your ecourse will continue promoting your affiliate products for as long as you allow people to sign up.

Gotta love passive income.

Overview of Online Poker Affiliate Programs

An online poker affiliate marketing program is a very effective business model and marketing technique where a poker room pays affiliates a commission for referring poker players to their website. The affiliate simply signs up for the affiliate program and then receives a unique affiliate marketing ID that they can use to market the site. Most poker room affiliate programs provide banner ads, content, bonus codes, and other types of promotional material that their affiliates can use when marketing the poker room. Banner ads and text links can be branded with the poker affiliates unique ID and all traffic originating from that link is tracked. When a visitor clicks an affililiate link, is redirected to the poker room, and creates an account, the poker affiliate is given credit for that player. By having an affiliate program, online poker rooms don't have to pay for costly advertising and only end up paying out when a new player signs up.

Poker affiliate programs have become an excellent, cost efficient way for online poker rooms to advertise and build up a base of active players. An affiliate agreement is made between a marketer and the poker room and permission is given to the affiliate to market the particular poker site. Affiliates have a great opportunity to then introduce the poker room to their sphere of influence and earn handsome commissions for doing so.

Not all internet poker affiliate programs are created equal however. It is important that an affiliate researches a poker room before deciding to promote it. Things that should be considered are commission payout percentages, reliability of commission payout, how long the poker room has been online, size of player base, etc.

If becoming your own boss and taking control of your financial future is something that appeals to you, I would strongly recommend that you do some more research on becoming a poker affiliate. Becoming a successful marketer of online poker affiliate programs is an opportunity that not only provides unlimited upside, but one that requires little if any monetary risk on the part of the affiliate.
