How To Turn $0 Into $1,500 In ClickBank Affiliate Commissions

by Codrut Turcanu

Believe it or not, this 3-minute article will reveal to you how you too can cash in with the ClickBank affiliate program and generate large affiliate commissions.

If you have ever wanted to know how you can start making money online by promoting ClickBank affiliate products and without spending a penny on advertising, now it's your chance to discover how I do it in 3 quick STEPS.

Before we go any further I want to share with you a few ClickBank insider secrets:

a. All you need to get started is a ClickBank affiliate nickname which you can get at ClickBank.com. It's 100% free to sign-up and you can start promoting a product within minutes.

b. It is fairly easy for someone to hijack a ClickBank affiliate code and steal your commissions. Also, it is fairly easy to protect your ClickBank commissions and make a nice living on the web solely with ClickBank.

c. The ClickBank marketplace makes it easy to earn commissions as a ClickBank affiliate by browsing up to 10,000 digital products like eBooks, software tools, services, etc.

Now, that I have told you these facts, I want to let you know how I generate ClickBank affiliate commissions with zero advertising costs, quickly and easily:

STEP #1 - I pick products that pay at least $30 per sale.

The ClickBank network contains over 10,000 products and services.

You can easily get confused and overwhelmed with so many products.

If you want to make real money I suggest you pick a ClickBank product that pays at least $30 in commissions.

You can search ClickBank for vendors that allow you to get 75% commissions... if a product sells for $67, 75% off $67 means over $50.

HINT: there are loads of ClickBank vendors that pay high commissions in the 60-75% range. So stick with them!

This is an easy way to skyrocket your ClickBank affiliate commissions.

STEP #2 - I create a mini course to promote the product.

FACT: marketing studies show that on average a person needs to see an advertisement for about 7 times before they decide to buy the product or not (online or offline)

Here comes the most exciting part - autoresponders can help you send out e-mails to your prospects (potential buyers) and turn them into real customers who order from you again and again.

Once I pick a ClickBank product, I review it carefully by buying a copy of it and testing it wisely.

If I like it, I'm going to create a 5-part course containing mini lessons targeted to the ClickBank product I promote.

If the one I pick is related to dog training, then I'm going to create a 5-part course with dog training tips, tricks and techniques.

Each lesson will be uploaded onto my autoresponder and each e-mail will contain a link to a separate page on my site where the lead will read the lesson and a mini review of the ClickBank product I recommend.

TIP: never promote more than 2 or 3 ClickBank related products on the same web page. You don't want to confuse your reader. When I am offered too many options I get confused about buying, and I'm not going to order due to this fact alone.

STEP #3 - I create a mini page review.

If you truly want to boost your ClickBank commissions you owe it to yourself to create a mini page review of the product you recommend.

Here's what your review needs to contain:

a. write a few paragraphs about why you like the product and why you recommend it to your reader.

Offer positive and negative aspects as well.

b. add 2 or 3 testimonials from happy customers.

You can snatch testimonials from the ClickBank vendor site or you can ask those who already purchased from your ClickBank affiliate link to send you their feedback.

In return you should promise them a special bonus and tell them you're going to publish their comment as a testimonial on your web page.

HINT: this is a mutual benefit. You get new testimonials that the vendor site hasn't - your visitors will trust you more than the vendor site (product owner). Your customer will get your bonus and have a link on your site that should bring them some nice exposure to their business.

In conclusion, if you follow these 3 powerful tactics below, you're going to make large ClickBank commissions with zero advertising costs, quickly and easily

10 Tips For Buying Affiliate Marketing Books

by Matthew Morris

Affiliate education is an extremely lucrative business that keeps growing on a daily basis. There is not a day that goes by, that some new expert promises to show you how to make you rich promoting affiliate programs. These experts promise to tell you the secrets to making millions promoting affiliate programs. They make it seem as if they hold the key to your future and that key is their new affiliate marketing book.

The truth is there are no secrets to making money with affiliate marketing. This is a business that anyone can start and make money fairly easy. So, if anyone can start and make money easily and there are no secrets, is affiliate education needed? There is a definite need for affiliate education, because there is a difference in making money and turning a profit and that is the key that most people miss. Anyone can make money online, but you need to turn a profit to stay in business and have the ability to make affiliate marketing a full time job. This is where a good affiliate marketing book will come in handy.

If affiliate education is import and there are no secrets, how do I know which of the affiliate marketing books to purchase? That is the million dollar question!! While there is no definitive answer, below are some tips that you can use to help make your purchasing decision easier.

1. Avoid the hype. Look past the long sales pages and ask your self if this is too good to be true. Most of the time they are.

2. Look at several reviews. Are they biased? Truth is 99% of the time yes. Most webmasters give biased reviews so that you will buy the product. The majority of the reviews are done by people who have not even read the book themselves.

3. Beware of the proof photos. You know the ones I am talking about, the Click Bank (or other) sales stats for a month. Anyone with a simple knowledge of Photo Shop can "doctor" these images.

4. Look past the "testimonials" 99% of the time they are from friends, business associates or just out right made up.

5. Do not buy with out a refund option. If the product does not come with a refund, move on.

6. Keep track of all receipts and back them up. When purchasing products online, I forward all receipts to a hotmail and g-mail account for safe keeping.

7. Use your refund. If you purchase a book and feel that you have been scammed, use the refund option.

8. Avoid the refund all together. Visit my site Affiliate Marketing Books, to get unbiased reviews of some of the most popular affiliate manuals available. You may be surprised at what you read.

9. When you have a copy of a good book, save a copy on a cd-rom, floppy disk or some other optional source. Better yet, print it, put it in a binder and take good notes.

10. Finally, do not purchase a book on affiliate marketing if you are not going to use it. Put that book to work and make money with it.

Affiliate Marketing - What is PPC Advertising?

by Kelley Kilanski

In simple terms, PPC advertising is Pay-Per-Click advertising used widely on the web in order to get customers to purchase products. Most notably PPC advertising is the model used for search engine advertising.

With regards to search engines, the PPC model offers advertisers the opportunity to bid on keywords they believe will target those interested in their product. For example, if an advertiser is trying to sell car parts, the advertiser could bid on the keyword "car parts" or the specific car part or be even more specific and bid on a more precise keyword. When a user types in the keyword the advertiser bid on, the product ad shows up in the "sponsored links" or "sponsored ad" section of the search results.

PPC advertising can be expensive if not done correctly. When an advertiser uses PPC advertising, they are competing with other advertisers for a top spot in the sponsored ad results. The goal is to keep the cost per click low while achieving a high ranking. For many search engines, your ranking is based on a quality score, which is based on several factors: keyword relevance, ad copy, landing page quality and bid amount. While the exact algorithm used in the quality score is not generally known, if any of these factors are not considered, you could end up paying a lot of money per click and have your marketing expense increase dramatically or worse, your ad not shown at all.

When you use PPC advertising, you want to start out cautiously and be smart about it. Read the guidelines that the search engines offer for webmasters and for advertisers. The guidelines are the best starting point but overlooked by many advertisers. Indeed, last July when adwords started considering landing pages in the quality score, many advertisers had their cost per click minimum increase dramatically shutting down a lot of campaigns. However, if they had read the guidelines, they would have been better prepared.

Affiliate Marketing as a Profitable Home Based Business

by Naresh Belliyappa

Running a home based business has become an attractive way to supplement one's income and with the growth of online businesses, affiliate marketing is a relatively easy way to earn extra cash. What exactly is Affiliate Marketing? It is an agreement between a merchant and a website owner, whereby the website owner, or the affiliate consents to the use of his/her site for the promotion of the merchant's products by linking with the online vendor's site. In exchange, the merchant pays a commission on all sales generated by the affiliate. This means that every time someone clicks on a link on the affiliate website, is redirected to the merchant's website and proceeds to make a purchase, the affiliate gets a commission.

The main reason why affiliate marketing is an excellent home based business is that there is little or no cash outlay for the prospective affiliate. The merchant has already tried and tested his product in the market and found it to have a good sale value, so all you, as an affiliate, have to do is find as many buyers as you can in order to increase the sales and bring in the profits. Affiliate programs are usually free to join, so affiliates do not have to worry about start-up costs. There are thousands of products and services you can choose from. You can find affiliate programs for every product so there is bound to be a product or service that is relevant to your website. You could even set up affiliate marketing as a home based business to run independent of your presence, perhaps while you at your primary job.

Affiliate marketing has become one of the most effective ways to advertise online. It is also one of the easiest ways for anyone with a website to make a profit online. Affiliate marketing programs are described as a win-win situation for both the merchant and the affiliate because of the pay-for-performance scheme. It gives the merchant a wider market in which to advertise a product or service. Affiliate marketing gives the product or service the exposure that it might not otherwise get with other traditional advertising techniques.

Meanwhile, the affiliate enjoys several advantages. Foremost among these is the ease with which profits can be made. In addition, there is absolutely no sales experience necessary. Most affiliate programs offer excellent support when it comes to providing marketing material. Because of the global reach of the internet, you can easily find thousands of eager buyers. You can broaden your advertising campaign with dynamic, high pressure tactics such as viral marketing. If you aim to reach the largest possible number of targeted potential buyers, you will greatly increase your earnings. The lack of complexity involved in affiliate marketing allows you to be an affiliate marketer with minimal liability, an ideal pre-requisite for a home based business. It is even possible to earn high affiliate commissions without a website of your own. It is always an advantage to have your own website, but if you don't, you can still become an affiliate marketer. You can, as do many people, earn a good income through Pay-per-Click advertising (PPC) using Google Adwords. You can also use different approaches like email marketing, offline promotions, writing e-books and engaging in online discussion forums. A further advantage of taking up affiliate marketing as a home business is that it is not contractual work. What this means is that there is no binding obligation on your part to keep promoting products that do not sell well - for whatever reason. Since you are in this business to make money, if you think that your returns are poor, you are free to go on to another product belonging either to the same or a different vendor.

Let us assume that you have decided to try your hand at affiliate marketing - you have your website ready, it has a theme, good domain name and reliable hosting - and you are raring to get started on your new home based business. There are 3 easy ways to start an effective affiliate marketing program:

1. Identify your area of interest and expertise - Focusing on a specific area you know very well will help bring out your creative best without much risk or effort. You can add a personal touch to your site and give your visitors, who are potential buyers, the impression that you are an expert in your field. In this way, you gain their trust and eventually encourage them to buy the products you endorse. Most importantly, instead of getting bored and discouraged if your sales are slow to get started, you could use your expertise and enthusiasm to find more creative ways to promote your affiliate products.

2. Searching for the right products - Look for merchants who pay a good percentage of the product value as commission.. Select products or services related to your interest and that are pertinent or complementary to the theme of your website. In choosing the products, you must also consider whether the number of visitors your advertising attracts to the site actually translates to buyers. If all you get are people browsing through the site, brought there by your publicity campaigns, then your earnings will go down. In such cases, you will have to rethink your strategy for attracting targeted buyers. There are various affiliate networks and affiliate solution providers that can give you information on the most profitable products and best paying merchants. The key here is, be wise enough to choose the right one.

3. Promoting your chosen products - This is a crucial task, since it is through this that you would be able to increase traffic to your website, close the sales and of course, reap the profits. Affiliate marketing allows you to make a lot of money fast particularly if the products you sell are expensive, branded and much sought after. Heavily priced products, however, can be hard to sell and attract other affiliate competitors; but with the right marketing strategies and sales techniques, you can draw visitors to the merchant’s site and make them buy the products. Continue to educate yourself by reading books or other articles online about the best advertising techniques. You need to be creative, flexible and willing to embrace new ideas to market your partners’ products until you find the perfect strategy that works for a specific market that you are targeting.

Nothing stops people from making money on the Internet more than an unwillingness to ride out the rough patches. The main reason for this is that they are in it only for the quick influx of cash. The money is important, no doubt about that , but a sincere desire to learn more, to try different strategies, to put in the effort and above all a confidence that it can be done, will in the end, only help you join the ranks of those successful in affiliate marketing. You may even find it so lucrative that you decide to give up your day job to concentrate exclusively on your home based business thus achieving every one's dream of personal and financial independence.

Why Are Affiliates So Important

by David Marc Fishman

Are you a webmaster that needs to make money? There are many different reasons that people decide they want to make money with work at home jobs. When you see the ads for work from home and make thousands of dollars per week, most of these are scams and they specifically designed to take your money, most people end up making no money at all. You too can earn money through the Internet even if you don’t have products to sell and high-profile and established company.

Affiliate products are products that customer only need to purchase the one time. So they start to spend more on a wider variety of products and / or services. All marketing webmasters who are using PPC choose keywords to promote their products, but the inexperienced marketers using these PPC Systems will be weeded out because they do not understand that it take many visits to make a sale. Experienced marketers are always adjusting their sales pages and they have deep pockets to continue to pay for the high bid keywords.

Affiliate programs are sometimes referred to as associate programs or referral programs. Why spend so much money and so much time bringing in affiliates who are immediately directed to other programs as soon as they join. But as the affiliate environment changes, affiliate programs must change as well.

Blogs are virtual traffic magnets that can be instrumental in generating a massive income, so if you're not taking advantage of this strategy I would recommend that you begin today. This will build a steady stream of traffic that won't stop, even if search engines decide to cut you off. Link exchanges will drive traffic to your website from partner sites. The merchant provides the affiliate with the tools they need to drive traffic to the merchant’s site.

Examples of highly successful affiliate programs to look at and learn from are amazon. Being successful in affiliate marketing will not happen overnight.

Affiliates are just other people who have websites that are selling other peoples products, when they sell the products they make a commission on the sale. When your referrals click the link and make a purchase, you get paid a sales commission on the sale.

Pre-selling is basically "warming up" your visitor to click to the merchant site and want to buy something. When you put the affiliate link on your site and someone clicks on the link a cookie is placed on the customer who clicked your link, the cookie holds your affiliate ID, this is how you receive credit for the sale. Affiliate marketing is a large business in the internet today, the affiliate will market the merchant’s products, build the traffic and generate revenue, this is done free of charge and the affiliate make the money when they make a sale.

Keyword research, web page building, article writing and submission, and getting links to your site are all dull and repetitive, but are vital to your success.

There are many affiliate programs, just search on the internet and join up and start selling.

Warning: Read This Before You Buy Any Information Products From The Internet

by Rose Mary

Have you ever buy information products from the internet before? If yes, what makes you buy? Is it the sales letter or recommendations from marketers? How many times are you satisfy with the products and how many time are you totally disappointed?

However, if you have not bought any information products from the internet before, this could be a challenging task. Why is it so difficult to buy any information products from the internet? If you ever read the various sales letters before, you will know how attention grapping they are and you will be spoilt with bonuses and money-back guarantee. It is always so tempting that after reading the sales letter, you will immediately pull out your credit card and give it to them.

No matter which group you belong too, the question you must ask is, how true and reliable is the sales letter? Even with the money back guarantee and the various testimonies, should you be taken in?

As a consumer, firstly, you want to buy things that are useful and secondly, you want to buy things that can perform according to the claims in the sales letter. After reading the sales letter and you are convinced to purchase, I believed that you do not mind investing. After all, this is what you are looking for. The last thing you want is to have a useless product and it does not deliver what was being said in the sales letter.

Even though there is a refund policy, it will still be a waste of your precious time to download, try out and finally find out that the product does not live up as it is claimed. As mentioned, since you have decided to invest, money is not so much of an issue; it is the time and effort trying out the product that is frustrating.

At times, some sellers are also reluctant to refund you unless you give them your reasons. This is also frustrating as it is not stated in the sales letter that there is a condition for refund. However, since there are too many frauds in the internet, the seller has to be careful as well. Whatever the case may be, I believe that you do not feel good either to ask for a refund. Even though it may be a genuine case, you might be seen as a cheat. Why go through all the agony?

Buying information product is not like buying physical products where you can feel, see and make judgment. For example, if you want to buy a book, you can go down to a bookstore and read the preface etc, but for an ebook, you cannot. So, your only source of information that can help you to decide is the sales letter.

So how to avoid such pitfalls when purchasing information products from the internet? The answer is simple, since you are buying from the internet; the answer will come form the internet. There are so many forums where you can go and read on people's views on the product that you intent to buy. Just key in the name of the product in the search engine and it will take you to some forums where there will be discussions about the product.

Read the reviews in the forum carefully and use it to make a judgment. To be fair, some products works for certain people while some do not. So you have to take both positive and negative remarks carefully. Best still, join the forum and ask question directly from those that have used the product. I believe you will get some very useful answers.

Spending time finding out the creditability of the product that you intent to buy will eventually save you time, effort and money. Do your research first as it does not take you long to find out. To be on the fore front on the development of information product, you are encouraged to browse and to join Discussion Forums.

5 Important Smart Ways to Promote Affiliate Programs

by Jason Phillips

After having chosen several programs to join, you probably realize that customers won't knock on your door - you have to come to them. By promoting your affiliate programs successfully, you build your own success!

So what should you do to promote your affiliate programs? Here are five methods which have succeeded for millions and can succeed for you, if you choose to follow the same steps as those millions before you!

#1 Create your own marketing affiliate program materials.

Many people use the marketing materials provided by the program they signed up for. Guess what? Thousands of people are using those same materials, those same ready-made websites and those same advertisements. People are easily bored and those ads get old really, really fast. Create something brand new and all your own!

* Create your own promotional website instead of using a stale, pre- packaged website. This is not very expensive and the returns can be huge!

* Create your own brochures and pamphlets. Whether using email or mailing materials to prospects in the old-fashioned way, be sure your material is fresh and new.

* Create compelling business cards. The business cards you hand out to contacts that you network with should also be fresh, new, and cause the person reading the card to feel compelled to contact you. A simple byline such as "Information on Becoming an Overnight Success" can be all it takes to make that person call you for more information.

* Write original articles and submit for publication to ezines for exposure of your fresh material.

#2 Generate Leads from an Opt-In Email List

Sure, you can buy names from email lists, but are those people even interested in the type of product you have to offer? Probably not! Create an opt-in mailing list by allowing prospects who come to your website to choose to receive a free newsletter. This gives you the opportunity to include information in the newsletter about your products. Why is this the best way?

* Allows contact with people who have at least some interest in the product you are promoting on your website

* Generates mailing list for future products you may promote

* Saves tons of money compared to buying mailing lists!

After all, think of all those flyers that come in the newspaper. What do you do with them? If you are like most people, you throw them away because they don't pertain to you. If all the flyers in your newspaper were placed there because you, personally, had expressed interest in them, you probably would read them all! This is the difference between random mailing and mailing to prospects that share an interest in your product type!

#3 Network, Network, Network

Never miss an opportunity to network with others who may have an interest in your products, or even be interested in joining the affiliate program under you.

* Share your own success story with others you encounter. Many will be interested in joining you in your endeavor.

* Offer to mentor new prospects to ensure their success.

* Exchange business cards and make follow-up calls to encourage them to talk with you further about your programs.

#4 Use Blogs to Promote Your Programs.

In the past year, blogs have become extremely popular. You can use this forum to your advantage in promoting your affiliate marketing programs.

* Generate top-quality content to place on the blogs.

* Be sure that the blogs you choose are not over saturated by affiliate marketers already. Locate fresh blogs to use in your promotions.

* Content should compel the reader to action. Make them HAVE to check out your program.

#5 Use banner exchanges to your advantage.

Most marketers know that banner exchanges can help them promote their products, but there are a few tricks to success.

* Make sure your banner is placed on sites that will attract the same client base that will desire you product.

* Create attractive and compelling banner content. Plain-Jane banner ads won't attract, those that send acompelling message to act will!

* Always look for new places for your banner to appear. Don't become complacent because you have three or four sites showing your banner. There are new websites every single day!

These five tips will help you successfully promote your affiliate programs. There are many other ways to promote products, but these are proven to work for people who dedicate themselves to ensuring their programs get the necessary exposure to succeed.

We wish all affiliates success in 2007, Many thanks for reading this Article from the Welcomecommunity family.

Harnessing the Power of Affiliate Programs

by Jonathan Holloway

Affiliate programs are the best way for a publisher to make more sales than he ever dreamed of. As a publisher you can have people doing all of the selling for you. All you have to do is come up with a credible product. It could be an e-book, tele-seminar, or just a recording of you talking about something. The best products to sell with an affiliate program are information products. These products can be delivered instantly once purchased. The buyer will just need to download the file after completing the transaction. I have found Clickbank to be the best site to launch an affiliate program.

Once you have a product you will need to create an informative website containing just a few pages. This should be a sales page, a thank you page, and an affiliates page. The sales page will do the selling for you. Be sure not to skimp on the quality of the sales letter. The thank you page will deliver the product once the transaction has been completed. The affiliate page will let people know how they can sign up for your affiliate program. You should also have information on this page to help current affiliates promote your products such as keywords to bid on for pay per click advertising.

Once you have all of these things in place you will need to submit your product for approval at Clickbank. Once approved you will need to pay the $49 dollar activation fee. Be sure to follow all of the guidelines when setting up your sales and thank you pages. Now you have an affiliate program ready to promote.

Promote your affiliate program in every way possible . Use pay per click, articles, forum announcements, and word of mouth. You will need to do everything you can to get it off the ground. Once you have recruited some affiliates, you will be able to focus more on what makes your product sell. Try different tactics on the sales page to try to maximize your sales. Remember that you must promote your affiliate program every day in every way possible.

Top 3 Ways To Boost Your Affiliate Commissions Overnight

by Azwan Asmat

The ideal world of affiliate marketing does not require having your won website, dealing with customers, refunds, product development and maintenance. This is one of the easiest ways of launching into an online business and earning more profits.

Assuming you are already into an affiliate program, what would be the next thing you would want to do? Double, or even triple, your commissions, right? How do you do that?

Here are some powerful tips on how to boost your affiliate program commissions overnight.

1. Know the best program and products to promote. Obviously, you would want to promote a program that will enable you to achieve the greatest profits in the shortest possible time.

There are several factors to consider in selecting such a program. Choose the ones that have a generous commission structure. Have products that fit in with your target audience. And that has a solid track record of paying their affiliate easily and on time. If you cannot seem to increase your investments, dump that program and keep looking for better ones.

There are thousands of affiliate programs online which gives you the reason to be picky. You may want to select the best to avoid losing your advertising dollars.

Write free reports or short ebooks to distribute from your site. There is a great possibility that you are competing with other affiliates that are promoting the same program. If you start writing short report related to the product you are promoting, you will be able to distinguish yourself from the other affiliates.

In the reports, provide some valuable information for free. If possible, add some recommendations about the products. With ebooks, you get credibility. Customers will see that in you and they will be enticed to try out what you are offering.

2. Collect and save the email addresses of those who download your free ebooks. It is a known fact that people do not make a purchase on the first solicitation. You may want to send out your message more than six times to make a sale.

This is the simple reason why you should collect the contact information of those who downloaded your reports and ebooks. You can make follow-ups on these contacts to remind them to make a purchase from you.

Get the contact information of a prospect before sending them to the vendor's website. Keep in mind that you are providing free advertisement for the product owners. You get paid only when you make a sale. If you send prospects directly to the vendors, chances are they would be lost to you forever.

But when you get their names, you can always send other marketing messages to them to be able to earn an ongoing commission instead of a one-time sale only.

Publish an online newsletter or Ezine. It is always best to recommend a product to someone you know than to sell to a stranger. This is the purpose behind publishing your own newsletter. This also allows you to develop a relationship based on trust with your subscribers.

This strategy is a delicate balance between providing useful information with a sales pitch. If you continue to write informative editorials you will be able to build a sense of reciprocity in your readers that may lead them to support you by buying your products.

3. Ask for higher than normal commission from merchants. If you are already successful with a particular promotion, you should try and approach the merchant and negotiate a percentage commission for your sales.

If the merchant is smart, he or she will likely grant your request rather than lose a valuable asset in you. Keep in mind that you are a zero-risk investment to your merchant; so do not be shy about requesting for addition in your commissions. Just try to be reasonable about it.

Write strong pay Per Click ads. PPC search engine is the most effective means of advertising online. As an affiliate, you can make a small income just by managing PPC campaigns such as Google AdWords and Overture. Then you should try and monitor them to see which ads are more effective and which ones to dispose of.

Try out these strategies and see the difference it can make to your commission checks in the shortest of time.

Flipping Clicks and AdSense

by Peter Dobler

For people who love the Internet and are looking for possible and steady sources of extra moolah, the on line ad networks may be the most popular and convenient choice. However, one could really get messed up with the numerous on line ad networks cramping cyberspace. With the numerous options available, finding the on line ad network to choose and trust is not an easy task.

One of the most popular on line ad networks nowadays would probably be the Google AdSense. This on line ad network is comprised of thousands of small to mid-sized publishers, with a few large publishers. Various testimonials state that with AdSense, people can get an average of US$2200 to US$6000 a month. However, the "death" of AdSense is being circulated on the Internet when Google introduced "smart pricing". Some people started feeling like AdSense is already the dreaded word- a JOB.

Some claim that although they continue to receive pay checks from Google, the monthly payments have significantly decreased. Those earning US$2000 monthly have been receiving a few hundreds. This is the so-called death of AdSense.

Thus, a new on line network is competing head to head with AdSense. People with dedication, creativity, patience and knowledge, no doubt, would make it big with AdSense. However, for those who are looking for an easy time and easy money, ClickFlipping is a new option.

Clicking flips is all about legally stealing clicks from other AdSense publishers. It must be noted that selling your traffic with AdSense is quite easy. With the use of a code, every single click earns money. But the idea of ClickFlipping is to buy other people's flicks and sell them for a much higher price instead of selling your flicks for a cheap price.

With ClickFlipping, there is no more need to rely on fickle search engines to bring in natural search traffic. With the pay-per-click traffic feature, you are already in the game in just less than half an hour. In addition, ClickFlipping pays bigger bucks for leads by sending traffic to cost-per-action websites. Put a simple banner on your blog only to check out by morning that it has already earned you dollars. And this is just for starters. Other Cost-Per-Action offer anywhere between US$15 to US$ 180 per lead. It is true however that ClickFlipping takes a little time and testing. The first attempts with ClickFlipping may lead to a lot of mistakes. Time, effort and even money will be wasted. But once you already discovered the ins and outs of ClickFlipping, the dollars start pouring in steady streams. With ClickFlipping, you have a way to track conversions on the keyword level to find out which keywords bring in the most profit, the so-called "money makers". In order to do this, you have to delete other keywords and ramp up the traffic to the more profitable keywords. This will establish a profit pathway. The more profit pathways, the more dollars you earn.

With ClickFlipping, one can pursue other activities without compromising the smooth operations of you Internet business. The ClickFlipping business still earns money even when you are not in front of the computer. One only has to find a CPA, slap up a landing page and finally add the keywords and create a Pay-Per-Click campaign.

The most common mistakes one is bound to commit with ClickFlipping are sending natural search traffic to CPA landing pages and sending pay-per-click traffic CPA landing pages. However, ClickFlipping has its downsides. For beginners with no knowledge at all about AdSense, Adwords and basic HTML, learning ClickFlipping may be a daunting challenge. It will also take a relatively longer time before money starts pouring into your account. In addition, getting into the exclusive ClickFlipping group is not cheap.

The word war between the Google AdSense and ClickFlipping continues to be waged in cyberspace. Google AdSense have been in existence for a long time now and many attest to its potential to rake in profits. But it has its downsides. On the other hand, ClickFlipping is an innovation and still needs to be tested. But this does not mean that one shouldn't explore this scheme. ClickFlipping offers different features and opportunities from that of AdSense.

Both on line ad networks have their own advantages and disadvantages. What is important is to weigh both ad networks and find the one most suitable to your lifestyle, need and financial situation.

Increasing Your Sales With Autoresponder

by Roge Barnett

The autoresponder is without a doubt one of the best marketing tools you can get. It is a widely used application that will automatically respond to any email that it receives. They are considered to be magical indeed, triggered by a blank email that they receive to their address. Once they receive this email, they automatically start working for your business.

Whenever someone sends the autoresponder a message, the individual who sent the message will receive a preset email message with the information they were seeking. Depending on the servers and speed of the Internet, the email response will happen very fast. Autoresponders have always been known for their quick speed and fast responses to any type of email message they receive.

One of the best things about autoresponders is the fact that they are always available. They are always there 24/7, providing your clients and customers with the information they seek. They will make your business life easier, by boosting your sales. They require little work from you, yet they are easy to operate. They can also make managing your customers and clients easier than ever, as they will help you keep track of your responses and keep up with email addresses you receive.

Even if you've never used an autoresponder before, you can easily use it to your advantage with your online business. You can preset it to say a variety of messages, even inform your clients about future offers and products. This is a great way to get your message out there, especially if you are currently holding a sale or other deal that you know people won't want to miss out on. Autoresponders will work for you day or night, making your company information available to anyone whenever they want it.

Contrary to popular belief, not all buyers are impulse buyers. Research has shown that less than 15% of those who visit websites are impulse buyers. Although most websites focus themselves on getting visitors to buy their products immediately, most buyers need time to think about a product or offer they will purchase it. Most buyers don't like to buy something immediately, simply because they may not be familiar with the product or know what it can do for them. Therefore, most buyers will learn all they can about something before they decide to go ahead and purchase it.

You can also use an autoresponder to distribute courses, articles or reports to your clients and subscribers. They are also great for providing free information to interested individuals, or immediately sending out information about your products and opportunities. You can also choose to send out price lists as well, or welcome new clients to your organization. If customers have purchased from you before, you can use an autoresponder to send out confirmations, thank you notes, and even offer discounts to those who buy your products.

In the world of Internet marketing, autoresponders are simply beneficial to have. They are worth more than the price you pay for them, simply because they will provide you with so much for so little. One of the best in the business is www.Automatic-Responder.com. Sending out information is easy with an autoresponder - as it will provide information about your company and products to interested clients the instant they need it.

All in all, an autoresponder will help you operate your business easier than ever before. Unlike other programs you can get for your online business, autoresponders will keep you in a constant state of readiness. You can feel free to go out and do what you want - and rest assured that your autoresponder will be there to supply information to those who need it.

Why Preselling Is So Important To An Affiliate Marketer

by Gary Ruplinger

Many people who are just getting started making money online start with affiliate marketing. Why? Well, because it’s easy to get started with right away. You don’t need to develop products, and you don’t have to worry about fulfillment. You can start earning money immediately rather than taking months before you make any money. However, most beginner affiliate marketers actually lose money rather than ever make any money.

The problem is that most affiliate marketers buy into the hype they read on the affiliate program owner’s page explaining how to make money with their program. They tell their affiliates that they can earn money even without a website, and that all they need to do is start buying traffic and sending it directly to their page via the affiliate link provided. That’s good advice if you’re the owner of the affiliate program, but that’s bad advice if you are the affiliate marketer.

When it comes to affiliate marketing, you do need your own web page. You need an opportunity to communicate with your visitors before sending them to the website you’re trying to promote. If all you’re doing is paying for traffic and sending it directly to the salesletter, you’re going to be giving up a lot of potential revenue. In fact, every time I’ve gotten lazy and tried to send traffic directly to the sales page, I’ve lost money.

What you need to do is setup a presell page. Yes, you’re going to need to spend a little money on getting setup to promote someone’s affiliate program. However, spending a little money upfront is going to make the money you spend on advertising a whole lot more effective. People are naturally skeptical of salesletters. Most people don’t want to be sold. They want information. Your job is to provide what appears to be a third party review of the product you are trying to promote. People may not like salesletters, but they absolutely love to read reviews. They want to know how a product works for someone who’s actually used it, and how a real person has actually used it.

When setting up your presell page, try to stay neutral in the beginning or your page. If you start out saying how great this product is that you’re trying to sell, people are going to be almost as skeptical of what you’re saying as they are of the actual salesletter page. You don’t want that. So give your visitor what they want. Give them a review of the product. Say how it helped you.

You’re not there yet, though. No product is perfect. People know that. Find something slightly negative to say about the product. Maybe it’s missing a feature you’d like to see, or maybe there was a topic that could have been covered a little better. Don’t try to find any flaws that are deal breaks, just something that will help your visitor see you as a more credible reviewer.

Once you’ve finished giving your review, you can recommend the product. Don’t go for a hard sell here. That’s a job for the actual salesletter. You just want them to go to the salesletter page with a favorable view of the product. That will make everything the salesletter says far more believable, and your visitor will be far more likely to buy than if you just sent them to the salesletter page directly.

Affiliate marketing can be extremely profitable when done right. Using presell pages is one great way to ensure that you do turn a profit in your affiliate promotions.

10 Points To Consider When Evaluating Affiliate Programs

by Nicholas Natale

If you’re familiar with affiliate marketing at all, I’m sure you’ve heard stories about affiliate programs and networks that would make you hesitant, to say the least, to participate in one. The effect of this negative publicity is that some people are very wary of joining one, and rightly so, even though the stories they may have heard are usually those related to illegal programs or pyramid schemes. Basically, this kind of market is identifiable because it lacks legitimate, valuable product.

You do NOT want to be associated with these types of schemes. Naturally, you should attempt to discover a program that offers high-quality product that you will be happy to endorse. The rapidly growing number of those who have already joined, and are succeeding, is proof that there are reliable, high-quality affiliate programs out there.

You might be thinking of affiliate marketing because it allows you to work part-time and build a generous residual income. Also, it makes you an owner of a small business. Affiliate programs have already proven themselves. They are living testimony that there is a reward for hard work, continuous prospecting, and motivating and training others.

If you are contemplating joining one, you should take pains to explore programs that are compatible with your capabilities. You will be much more likely to succeed if the necessary skill set is one that you can be comfortable with. You should also consider the amount of time and resources that you will have to devote, and the methods of marketing you will need to employ, that will produce the desired results.

Now, how do you choose a good affiliate program to promote? Here are some helpful attributes to consider before making your decision:

1. First, find a program that you like and have interest in. One of the best ways of knowing if that is the kind of program you wish to promote is if you are interested in purchasing the product or service yourself. If that is the case, chances are there will be others who are also interested in the same program and/or products.

2. Find a high quality program. For example, look for one that has many experts in that particular industry associated with it. Assume that these respectable, knowledgeable people would not want to identify themselves with an inferior product or program.

3. Seriously consider the ones that offer real and viable products. To determine which these are, you will have to do some initial research. If possible, track down some of the members and customers to give you testimonials on the credibility of the program.

4. Identify a program that is catering to a growing target market. This will ensure that there will be more and continuous demand for your referrals. Make inquiries. Participate in forums and discussions to get good and reliable feedback.

5. Look closely at the compensation structure. A program with an initial payout of 30% or more and a good residual income would be a great choice. There are programs offering this kind of compensation. Determine what is available and what you can accept, and then don’t waste your time with programs that don’t adequately reward your efforts.

6. Try to avoid those programs with difficult minimum quotas that you must fulfill or a sales target that is too hard to achieve. Some affiliate programs require certain ongoing activity before you qualify for your commissions. Be sure that you are capable of meeting these requirements on a consistent basis.

7. Select a program that has the tools and resources to help you grow your business in the shortest possible time. Not all affiliate programs offer these, so make sure you decide on one with lots of helpful tools you can use.

8. The program you choose should have a proven system that can allow you to examine your networks and compensation. It would be desirable for this to be available online for you to check anytime and anywhere.

9. Award extra points to a program that offers strong incentives for members to renew their membership. The affiliate program that provides continuous help and upgrades for its products has a tendency to retain its members. A policy like this will help assure the growth of your networks.

10. Try to ascertain the things that members are unhappy with in a program. As I mentioned above, you can obtain a great deal of information at discussion forums. It could be very interesting to find out what someone in that particular program would consider difficult or detrimental.

In conclusion, you should try to have a thorough and intensive knowledge of the affiliate programs and networks you may consider joining, and I hope that this strategy will help you anticipate and prevent any future problems you may encounter.

The Importance of 2nd Tier Affiliate Commissions

by John Gatens

OK, you have a product to promote so you get to work placing your ads on the Traffic Exchanges, ezine ads, emails, perhaps even Google Adwords or other pay per click Search Engines. You switch on your computer each day with anticipation and........Nothing!

Why no sales? Isn't this a great product? Didn't you buy it? Why is no one else buying it?

The chances are other people have bought the product but when they checked it out, there was the Affiliate Program proudly displayed at the top or bottom of the sales page. The buyers have simply done what you would do, they have signed up for the Affiliate Program and then bought under their own Affiliate link. You have lost the sale and signed up an affiliate for someone else and you have not made one cent.

Welcome to Affiliate Marketing.

2nd tier commissions will pay you for sales made by any Affiliate who signs up under you, and although commission will most probably be paid at a lower rate at least you have made something. This is the first basic (and expensive) lesson to be learned by most "Newbies". I was one of them.

I have genuine empathy for the many new Affiliates who bombard my inbox with all the wonderful offers which clearly offer an Affiliate Program with no 2nd tier commissions. Using some of the very good free resources available will at least keep your costs down when you are starting out. So please, if you are reading this article as a newcomer to Affiliate Marketing, pay particular attention to the products you promote to ensure that all your hard work does not go without due reward. There is money to be made with Affiliate Marketing, you just have to take a little consideration with your products.

Internet Marketing is Really Tough

by James W Vincent

Internet Marketing can be hard and an extremely daunting task for the beginner. Entry into the affiliate game can seem like a key to instant riches, but turns out to be a let down for many. But it doesn’t have to be if you keep a cool head, accept the following home truths and get a quality mentor.

1. You must work – this is the bottom line. It is a job like any other where you have to put the graft in to get results (although you can work from home and chose your hours).

2. You should have some money to invest – this can be minimal (a few dollars) but will be required for setting up a website and some advertising funds if you want a head start.

3. If you genuinely don’t have any money then you will need to invest time – see number 1

4. Beware of monetary promises – Heed the old adage: There is no such thing as a free lunch. In any other marketplace in the world if someone told you they would give you $100 in two minutes if you gave them $5, would you believe them?

5. Approach Internet Marketing like an investment – like any other investments do your research before you buy. A good forum with like-minded individuals and a sense of community and support is essential for research.

6. This is a job – see number 1.

7. This is not for the desperate or the flippant – Affiliate marketing should not be the last attempt of the desperate or something to throw some money at and see where it goes.

8. A web site is essential – for a number of reasons this is true. Web design can be learned easily though (the best websites are mostly text, so you don’t need to do anything flashy) and a good affiliate-tutoring program will have tools to help you do this.

Sounds like hard work, doesn’t it? But if you stay calm and keep an open mind the fog will clear and you will have unlocked the door to a world of potentially huge reward.

Diversity in Your Affiliate Portfolio

by Donny Gamble

As you already know, affiliate marketing is literally one of the greatest businesses in the world once you get it up and going. It has been made popular on the internet by companies such as Clickbank, Commission Junction, and Amazon.

One thing that all of the super affiliates I have spoken to have in common is that they all have a collection of products that they are thinking of promoting/ are promoting. They know which products are launching. Products that have launched, products that have been successful for others… these guys are very critical about product selection.

What it means to have a diverse portfolio is that you need to have a variety of different affiliate programs that you promote.

As an understanding, the vast majority of affiliate programs fit into 3 basic payment structures:

Single Commission- One Level: Here you’re paid just once from the purchase of the customer. If that customer joins the said program you don’t earn any more commissions on sales made by the clients.

Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) Commission: Here you’re just one flat fee for the customer, not for his purchases.

Residual Commission- 2 Tiered and Above: You’re paid every time the referred customer makes a purchase and also a percentage of the commissions earned by referrals of that customer. You can therefore earn from your second, third, or fourth, etc. generation recruits even though it’s at a lower percentage normally.

Create an affiliate portfolio of different programs to sustain long term affiliate income. Smart affiliates know about selecting the right programs to promote, they’ve also focused on promoting just these few programs.

The key here is, you may want to balance your portfolio. This is so you can be generating income even if for some reason you’re not able to work.

This is exactly why residual and multi-tiered programs are absolutely necessary elements for a well balanced portfolio.

Therefore, plan and churn out your own in-house portfolio based on the product quality, sales conversions, commission percentage and availability of promotional tools.

Promoting your affiliate portfolio on a planned schedule will get you the best results. Build up this foundation and you will be on your way to affiliate success.

Low Budget Affiliate Marketing

by: Ian Simpson

You want to start an online business, but don't have your own product to sell. But you do have the option of starting with affiliate marketing - selling other peoples' products for a commission. Affiliate marketing is a great way to make money. In just the last few years, affiliate marketing has become a very powerful force in ecommerce. Everyday, thousands, if not millions, of merchants rely on affiliate marketing to drive their businesses.

So, is online affiliate marketing right for you? Well, you will never know unless you take the necessary steps. If you don't try, then you cannot expect to succeed. Make today the day that you commit to changing the direction of your life. However, like any other business, whether it's online or off line, affiliate marketing cannot guarantee you success unless you work at it.

As with any business start up, and affiliate marketing is no excpetion, you will need to spend some money on the basics to get you started. However, through proper budgeting, your initial outlay can be reduced. So, you need to decide how much money you can afford to invest in your affiliate marketing business. There are some expenses that you will have if you want to be successful and there are others that you can put off until the time that you start earning income from your affiliate products. Some items that you will need to budget for are:

Domain Name. The domain name should relate to the subject and keep your domain name simple and easy to remember. There is quite a span between the low-cost and the high-end cost of domain names. If you shop around, you may even be able to find something less expensive. But make sure it's a well-established company! You don't want to lose your domain name once you have decided on it! You will likely get a better deal if you register your domain name for two or more years in advance. Namecheap.com and Godaddy.com are both excellent domain providers.

Website Hosting. Web hosting fees will vary dramatically between hosting providers. Set up a comparison chart and write down each company you are considering. Some companies offer rates as low as $2 a month, while others charge over $100. The highest rates don't always translate into the best service. Some of the lower-priced hosts offer a reliable, stable environment that allows your website to be accessed around the clock for years. Hostgator.com provide quality hosting at reasonable prices. Shop carefully and if possible avoid free hosting which can be unreliable.

Merchant Account. You don’t have to invest thousands of dollars to open a merchant account. Find a merchant account vendor through a local financial institution, like a bank, and discuss the possibilities that will best suit your business and your customers. A merchant account will let you start accepting credit card payments for customer purchases, which will enhance the shopping experience for most customers and earn your company a progressive reputation. Never assume you will have extravagant monthly charges when you open a merchant account. Shop around, ask questions, and compare costs to get the best low cost merchant account available for your business. Your customers will thank you with repeat and additional business.

Software. You will need to track your expenses and income from your affiliate business and the simplist way is to use Miscrosoft Excel or similar program. Seeing your expenses for the whole year is a great way to keep them under control. What is the final total? Does that seem extreme? Remember, this is for an entire year. Keep it in perspective. If you intend to have a real business, you must treat it as a real business.

Advertising. The best marketing tip you will ever hear is to advertise your product or business. In today's market, anyone in business knows that advertising is the backbone to their success. Even with the greatest product on the planet, a product that you know everyone needs and wants, without advertising, it's just an idea going nowhere. Make sure you check out the best ways to advertise your business. It can be a fun, profitable, and easy experience with the right tools.

Education. Ongoing education is going to be extremely important to your affiliate marketing success. You will not have to purchase a lot of educational materials if you don't want to. There are many free resources, such as newsletters, that you can study. Sign up for a few newsletters and use the information to gain experience.

Affiliate marketing can be a a great way to create a business on the internet but you will need to learn and understand the basics before you set off on your online adventure. Choose your affiliate programs carefully and make sure that you get the support and backup from the affiliate program.

How To Make Your Web Site And Affiliate Marketing Compatible

by: Ove Nordkvist

People who look for income opportunities, do often come across the idea of affiliate marketing. At first sight, it looks like it's just to have a banner posted on their web site to generate income.

The truth is that you need to do a little more than that. You have to test and evaluate every necessary ingredient in your particular affiliate marketing niche. By testing and optimize you will learn how to get the most out of your efforts.

To be able to make money from your web site as an affiliate marketer. You need to get your site and your affiliate program to work together. It's a team sport with two players, and to win the matches, booth players have to perform well.

Let's have a look why this compability is so important. Your visitors come to your site because they want information on a specific topic. To be able to recommend a service or a product your visitors may be interested in, you must promote something that are related to your sites theme.

If you try to recommend a product unrelated to your theme, it will only result in a click at the back button. Once your visitor spot a banner or a text link that is not related to your page content. He will think you're unprofessional. Or worse, he might think you try to scam him.

To make the affiliate marketing process work, you must keep your content and recommended products or services related. Your customer visit your site to find information and a solution of his problem. First you provide the information, then you recommend a solution for his problem.

Banner or text link placement is also an important ingredient. It will work best if you can weave it in to your content. Try to make it as a well flowing unit. However, Don't hide the fact that your visitor will land on another web site when he click at your link. Build trust and confidence by being honest. To find the most efficient placement, you have to test and evaluate over time.

Once you've learned to master the art of affiliate marketing, it will give you a repeatable income. When your first program is up and running smoothly, It's time to implement the next one.

All products or services have their ups and downs. Therefore it is wise to divide your sources of income. Your site must have one main theme, but there is no reason why you can't have several sub themes. With that, comes the possibility to promote other products or services, that are related to these sub themes.

When you add more than one source of income, it will balance your income. It will help you to gain a stable financial situation.

Affiliate Marketing, Moving Towards Maturity

The internet has brought about many changes in the business world; business owners who cannot afford to put up different offices in various places see a ray of hope with this development. Through the internet, they are able to reach all parts of the world without actually traveling and putting up traditional stores and offices in each place.

One method of introducing your business on the net is through affiliate marketing. A very much popular method is recognized by any business entity, and that is affiliate marketing. Through this method, the affiliate is given a reward every time a person visits or subscribes a particular company's website. The affiliate is being rewarded because of his efforts in promoting your business.

Emerging businesses on the net is finding this method quite handy. The affiliate is compensated through a registrant, a certain value for each 'click', or commission for every sale. It can also be any combination of the three.

You will not pay the affiliate without gaining any result, which makes this modern method attractive. So with affiliate marketing, you are sure to gain customers rather than losing them.

Your business can get as much as a 20% increase in revenue because of affiliate marketing. E-commerce sites often run affiliate programs of their own, but in other cases, a third party is used to track sales or traffic referred from the affiliates.

Then there are also the multi-tier programs which uses a network of sub-affiliates and sign ups. Through this, the commission is usually distributed to a hierarchy of referral network.

However, most programs associated with affiliate marketing are one-tier, because the multi version can be rather confusing. Business owner who are thinking of affiliate marketing should first conduct a valuable research on the different options available for them on the net. Your solution can be through hosted services, a software which can stand alone, shopping carts, and affiliate networks through a third party.

Back in the early days of the internet, many affiliates use spam, and that is why before, affiliate marketing did not have a very good impression. Presently, spamming is already prohibited because affiliate marketing has already matured with different successful methods.

The web's new face today has a great impact on affiliate marketing. And this includes interactive communities, blogging, and other new web technologies. Now, business owners can communicate better with affiliates, they have more chance to get a closer picture of what affiliate marketing really is.

The truth is, there are unscrupulous affiliates on the loose, and they are there just to make money. But because of the new developments on the net, it is much harder for them to thrive in it. They are easily detected and the community is notified with great efficiency and speed.

Today, the internet caters to many emerging businesses that wants to take part in earning big money. And up to this time, the number of businesses that trust affiliate marketing is still growing. This brings about more maturity on the part of the affiliates because they face a huge challenge. With many competitors rising, the affiliates should be able to encompass all the obstacles they may encounter. And though the business has a very little chance to get attention on the net, once it does, the rewards that you will get are still greater.

A Long Expected Remedy: Clickbank's New Tracking System

by Robert Thatcher

An essential factor for success in affiliate marketing is the ability to track and test your results with a service that ClickBank tracking successfully supplies. If you can identify through ClickBank tracking which ads are producing the most sales, as well as who is clicking on them, you can make the most of your affiliate program.

As an Internet entrepreneur, you want to make as much in profits as possible. ClickBank publishers enjoy access to over 100,000 affiliates. Most importantly, ClickBank tracking affords you the ability to monitor your affiliate program and assure that the proper commissions are meted out.

In this age of information and technology, web users prefer to browse the Internet anonymously. This means that affiliate programs have more difficulty tracking the associations between their members and the general public. ClickBank tracking uses a form of cookies to distribute a database of user information throughout the web.

ClickBank tracking is also called the hoplink system. ClickBank tracking records cookies on a consumer's computer. One cookie can hold several records of affiliate referral relationships. Each time a consumer is referred to a new affiliate, the existing cookie is updated by ClickBank tracking.

ClickBank tracking works automatically. Each time a consumer goes to a new merchant, ClickBank tracking goes into effect. The ClickBank tracking server sends the consumer a referral cookie and redirects the consumer to the affiliate site. This new destination is called the merchant's landing page. The location of the landing page, which accepts inbound affiliate referrals, can be set up through the ClickBank tracking settings.

ClickBank tracking works the way it does because of two parallel architectures. The first, or original, architecture is the regular ClickBank tracking/hoplink system. ClickBank tracking has received some criticism for this original architecture's penetrability and inflexibility. Consequently, an enhanced ClickBank tracking/hoplink system came out that works in parallel with the original ClickBank tracking system. ClickBank tracking has hence been improved thanks to the range of new features that elevate security and the effectiveness of the affiliate program.

ClickBank tracking is supposed to encapsulate even more data that will allow for detailed reports of real-time affiliate referral stats and even merchant conversion rates. ClickBank tracking also supports referral links to several landing pages at the merchant's site. Best of all, ClickBank tracking features complete customer service. ClickBank tracking manages sales and commissions automatically and you don't need to have any special equipment or programming knowledge to benefit from ClickBank tracking.

All you need to do to get underway with ClickBank tracking is set up an account. Like any other affiliate program, ClickBank has certain regulations. The next step is to set up a â€Å“pitch page” and a â€Å“thank you page.” To participate in ClickBank tracking, you need to test all of your links to ensure they are working properly. As soon as you are approved and pay the activation charge, you are on your way to checking your ClickBank tracking results. From here, all you do is set up your affiliate network and see where ClickBank tracking takes you.

By now, you should feel comfortable with ClickBank tracking and how it works. If you feel ready to increase your profit shares, get started with ClickBank tracking. Should any questions remain about the success or viability of ClickBank tracking, research ClickBank tracking further online. Get ready to make the most of your affiliate network with ClickBank tracking!

Home Business Idea: Affiliate Marketing

by Nell Taliercio

If you have been looking for way to develop your own internet based business, you may want to look into affiliate marketing as one source of income.

Companies and individuals who are selling products online set up affiliate programs as part of their marketing plan. They recruit affiliates and offer them a commission for bring them paying customers or they offer a payment for a specific action like subscribing to a newsletter or providing other contact info.

Anyone with an online presence can dip their hands into the affiliate marketing pot. There are affiliate programs for every market for all kinds of products and services.

Start with a Website Create a website and fill it with content that interests your target market. You can incorporate contextual advertising that pays you an amount for every click or make product recommendations that result in a commission for you when your reader acts on your advice.

Blogging for Dollars. If webmastering is too much to consider you can get started with a simple blog. You won’t have to know HTML and can still build up content and attract your desired readers and make profitable recommendations. There are even affiliate programs designed especially for blogs.

Mailing List When you want to get serious about developing your affiliate income you will need a mailing list. You work hard to bring visitors into your website or blog; keep and grow that contact by inviting them to subscribe to your email newsletter or tips list. You’ll be able to make timely offers to your list and see an increase in your overall affiliate income.

When looking for affiliate programs to promote try searching for phrases that include your target market. For example ‘parenting affiliate program’ or ‘teachers affiliate program’. This should bring you some results to get started with. Then you can take a look at some of the big affiliate networks like Commission Junction, ShareaSale, ClickBank and LinkShare.

I personally prefer promoting virtual products. They tend to provide higher commission rates and higher overall payouts. Tangible products like books, toys and computers usually offer a relatively low commission rate since overhead costs are higher for the seller. You can make a good income on both kinds of products if you can generate enough sales.

Affiliate Marketing - Making More Money By Discouraging Some Prospects From Buying

by Chimezirim Odimba

I often see affiliates who recommend almost every product that gives a good commission. Their yardstick for determining if a product is worth promoting is how much it generates as commissions. They make money on the short run but lose big time on the long run. Here is a better way . . .

Make sure you are very selective of products you promote. Yes, you should be mindful of how much commission is paid. However, ensure that you never promote any product that you do not consider good enough for you -- And that's just if you want to be an average affiliate marketer.

If you want to be a big player, then you must only promote products you have used. You should be able to give an excellent unbiased review of the product (And that can only be done if you have used the product and have seen its strengths and weaknesses).

No matter how great a product is, it can't be the best for everyone. Let your readers know who the product is best for. Is it a product that will serve those who are willing to devote some hours daily? Tell them that. Save those who don't need it from making a wrong decision. They'll reward you with their loyalty and by buying something you'll recommend later that fits their needs and situation.

Tell you readers the good, the bad and the ugly about the product. Look very critically for any issues and talk about them. Leave people to make the decision.

You may think this will make some people NOT buy -- And you are right. You'll lose some sales and commissions but you'll get more loyal subscribers and visitors.

And guess what, they'll always check out your own review for products making the waves in your industry and that means you'll get much more on the long run. People simply buy from people whose recommendations they can trust.

Increase your affiliate earnings by getting all the information/tools/resources you need to take your business to a higher level. Get all you need to succeed online here.

Affiliate Marketing: Why Is It a Good Home Business?

by Steven Gerber

Affiliate marketing is now one of the most popular ways people do to start a very lucrative home business. It is a fact that some people have earned a lot of money in affiliate marketing that they have quit their regular jobs and dedicated all their time for this particular home business.

Affiliate marketing is so popular nowadays because of the high potential income that people can earn through this home-based business. Starting an affiliate business doesn’t cost much and there is very little risk involved.

Firstly, you have to know how you can profit from an affiliate business and how it works.
Affiliate business is like selling a product or service of another website that you are affiliated with. Once visitors in your website clicks on your link to the affiliate website who actually sells the product or services and purchases from that website, you will earn a commission based on the product the visitor from your website brought.

Now that you know how affiliate business works and how you can earn money from it, you now have to know what you need in order to start an affiliate program home-based business.

First of all, you will need a website. You don’t even need to have a personal website. All you need is a free website or a free blog site. You have to remember that not all affiliate programs will require you to have your own website. However, most major affiliate programs do.

But if you don’t want to spend money on a personal website, you can always apply for an affiliate program that doesn’t require you to have your own website. However, it is always better to have your personal website because major affiliate programs are more profitable than other affiliate programs that don't even need a personal website in order for you to join. Besides, you won’t be spending a lot of money to start your website. It is relatively cheap. You only have to pay a small amount of fee for the usage of the website space every year.

The second step is by thinking about what your website content will be. Think about your hobby. If you like guns then put some articles about guns and share your own opinions about the best guns in your website. You can also put in some pictures of you in the shooting range and you can also put a discussion board or a message posting site where your visitors can express their opinions.

The next step is by joining major affiliate networks that sells popular products. Since your website is about guns or firearms, you should also be affiliated to major companies that sell firearms, firearms parts, hunting website, shooting website and others. Always remember that the key to all this is targeted traffic. Besides, you wouldn’t expect someone to be interested in your affiliate program that sells dolls if your website is about cars. The point to all this is that your affiliate website should be related to the topic of your website in order to get your visitors to click on the affiliate banner ads and purchase things from your affiliate company.

Now that your website is up and running and you already set up your affiliate program, the next thing to do is promote your website by promoting the products and services that you are discussing in your site. You can publish some articles about your hobby in article publishing sites. This will build your reputation and also get targeted traffic to go to your site. The "promoting your website" stage is where you should work hard on. Always remember that you should frequently update your website in order to keep your visitors happy and let them continue visiting and also let them continue visiting the affiliate website and purchase from them. By doing this, you will be able to have and maintain a constant amount of commissions for every product sold.

How To Earn Residual Income and Boost Your Website Income

by Marian Krajcovic

If you’ve searched for a way to make your living online for any amount of time you have found that the options are endless. A quick way to cut the abundance of choice is to decide on an opportunity that offers residual income.

Residual income, also called passive income, is income that continues to be generated after your initial effort is expended. No more earning 40 hours of pay for 40 hours of work. Residual income allows you to leverage your effort. A residual income opportunity can be one of the most powerful ways to earn income.

Before we cover how powerful a residual income opportunity is, let’s look at the facts.

9 out of 10 families require two members of the household to work to meet ends meet
The average job pays $24,000/year.
85% of Americans state they would like to own their own business.
If you are in the 85% majority, you are ready to own your own business. A residual income opportunity allows you the ability to work a set amount of hours, but to exponentially grow your income. Let’s look at the power of residual income.
Even when you quit working, you keep earning
Ability to automate the residual income opportunity and work as little as 15 min. a day
Make money while others do the work
Flexibility of working from home
Enjoy the freedom and income you want
Some referral or reseller associate programs (not related to MLM or network marketing), offer similar opportunities for earning residual income. Also called affiliate programs, these are very popular on the Internet. There are a large number of websites that offer affiliate programs that include residual income.

You need to know what to look for before committing to a residual income program.

Matrix system compensation plan – A matrix system can consist of anything from 2x2 – 12x12. This allows you to earn money from other members of your team
As few sales as possible to be in profit – Up-front costs should not be overwhelming.
Bonus options are a plus!
Supplied customizable website
Multiple residual income opportunities included
Orders are processed and handled for you
Email follow-ups provided for you

Now, not every residual income opportunity is going to provide all of the above.

But, if you want to set yourself up for success a business that has already worked out the details is of great advantage. You are free to focus on making money rather than designing a website, creating emails and driving traffic to your site.

Residual income is definitely a powerful means to make a living. Imagine the ability to duplicate, triplicate or quadruplicate your efforts. A Residual income opportunity allows you to do this and more. With careful research the perfect opportunity will present itself and you will be on your way to living the life of your dreams.

How Are Affiliate Sales Tracked

by Lea Beven

Affiliate Networks use a variety of methods mostly Tracking or Referral Codes and Cookies.

Referral Codes:

This is a unique code that is attached to the end of a URL (Uniform Resource Locator) in the link from your website to the Merchant's website. This code will identify you, via your Affiliate Group Account, as being the referring agent who is entitled to Commission for any purchase made by the Customer. For example, if the Merchant's website URL was http://www.leasebackschemes.co.uk then the link you would use might look like this www.leasebackschemes.co.uk/affilate.asp?id=12555, where 12555 is your Account Number with that particular Affiliate Group.

The problem with using Referral Codes by themselves is that if the Customer does not buy anything during that visit to the Merchant website but returns later on, via a different route, to purchase something then you will not get credit for the referral. To get around this some Merchants log Customer's IP (Internet Protocol) Addresses with the Referral Code so when the Customer returns later on they know who made the initial referral. But there are still problems with this as some people have a Dynamic IP Address, which means it changes every time they sign on to the internet.

Cookies:

A Cookie is a very small piece of information that a website puts on your computer so that it can remember something about you at a later time. What this means is that you are still credited as the referral agent even if the Customer visits a Merchant website and then goes away, but returns later on by going directly to the Merchant's website and not by clicking through from your website. Most Cookies are set to remain active for a period of time, like 30 days or maybe 90 days, in some extreme cases Cookies are set to remain active for 9,999 days! However, some Merchants use what are called Session Only Cookies, this means that they only remain active for the duration of the Customer's current visit to their site.

Whichever method is used, you must remember that some (few) Merchants are only interested in paying you Commission if an immediate purchase is made, i.e. during the Customer's current visit to their site. On the other hand, most Merchants are happy to pay you Commission for the lifetime of the Customer or lifetime of the cookie (say 99 days), so no matter when they return or how much they buy you will still get Commission on every sale. The details of what each Merchant will pay is usually listed in the Merchant Program on the Affiliate Group's website. These details can often affect which Merchants you chose to take on and display on your website.

Affiliate Commissions that pay you Month after Month?

by Will Toh Kwang Hwee

So you are thinking of joining some affiliate programs. How do you choose which to join?

There are several different ways in which you can earn money from affiliate programs. The most common is the simple sales commission. The merchant offers to pay you, say, 25%, 40% or 50% of the total selling price every time you make a sale. Or in a two-tier program, you also get paid when one of the people you sold to also makes a sale.

Other programs pay by leads. These are often companies who sell financial products such as loans, mortgages or insurance. You get paid a fixed fee when the prospect fills in an application or a form requesting further information. Others pay you a fixed fee for every click-through to their site that comes via your affiliate link. Although these two types of program may pay smaller sums of money, the advantage is that the customer does not actually have to purchase anything before you get paid.

The problem with all these types of program is that after all the trouble you have taken to get people to your site, you only get one payment from them or perhaps two in the case of two-tier programs. What you really want is to make the most of each and every customer who comes to your site. The best way to do this is through residual commissions.

Residual income affiliate programs pay you repeatedly for a sale you make only once. Sounds good doesn't it?

For example, you may be using your site to promote an auto-responder service. When somebody comes to your site and decides to buy the service, the initial commission may be low - say $10. But as long as that customer continues to subscribe to the service, you will collect a portion of the monthly fees - maybe a further $10 per month for you. Compare this with a $50 product that you are selling at 70% commission. A commission of 70% sounds good but it will be a one-off payment of $35. If your auto-responder purchaser remains a customer for a year, you will collect $120 plus your initial $10 - and that is only one customer.

One good way to collect residual commission is through membership sites. These are growing in popularity. You refer someone to the site and if they subscribe they will pay a monthly fee of, say $29.99, of which a percentage goes to you.

The thing to remember about products that pay residual commissions is that they are usually a service rather than a physical product. Customers will only continue to subscribe as long as they are satisfied with the service. If they unsubscribe very quickly, you are no better off and have wasted all that time and effort. What is more, if they subscribed through you and then found it unsatisfactory, your standing as a seller may be damaged.

This means you need to be careful what you promote as an affiliate. It is very easy to sign up to affiliate programs but if you aren't familiar with what you are selling, it could cause you problems in the long run. You need to familiarize yourself with the product or service and, ideally, use it yourself, so that you can genuinely recommend it to the customers. Join the membership site yourself and your recommendation will ring true.

If you operate wisely, residual commissions can bring you in a very healthy income.

Products that have launched, products that have been successful for others... these guys are very critical about product selection.

What it means to have a diverse portfolio is that you need to have a variety of different affiliate programs that you promote.

As an understanding, the vast majority of affiliate programs fit into 3 basic payment structures:

Single Commission- One Level: Here you're paid just once from the purchase of the customer. If that customer joins the said program you don't earn any more commissions on sales made by the clients.

Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) Commission: Here you're just one flat fee for the customer, not for his purchases.

Residual Commission- 2 Tiered and Above: You're paid every time the referred customer makes a purchase and also a percentage of the commissions earned by referrals of that customer. You can therefore earn from your second, third, or fourth, etc. generation recruits even though it's at a lower percentage normally.

Create an affiliate portfolio of different programs to sustain long term affiliate income. Smart affiliates know about selecting the right programs to promote, they've also focused on promoting just these few programs.

The key here is, you may want to balance your portfolio. This is so you can be generating income even if for some reason you're not able to work.

Finding The Best Niche Affiliate Marketing Program

by Michael Rad

The importance of niche affiliate marketing program options is huge, but you need to identify the niche first, and build a website to cover it right afterwards.

So how can I find a niche?

Keep your eyes open, read the newspapers, get newsletters. If you are always up to date with anything new that hits the market, with every medical or science discovery, you simply cannot miss finding a great niche. If you still are unsure on how to find a good niche, try this: sit in your favorite armchair and jot down 10 – 20 things that you have some interest in and that you think could be a niche. Then do your research – run searches in the search engines and see how those topics are covered. Let's say you find a weird niche like “rabbit clothing” – is there sufficient interest in it? Also, even if you do get visitors on your site, will there be a niche affiliate marketing program that offers rabbit clothing? If your niche is too specific, try to develop a broader online portal, maybe about “pet clothing”, in which an important part would be dedicated to your initial niche.

Examples of niche affiliate marketing programs

Many “niche hunters” charge a lot of money to find and reveal niches to webmasters looking to develop a site on that particular topic. It's also good to know that what's considered a niche today, might be an overpopulated field a few months from now. One of the hottest niches today is that for mesothelioma cancer, with lawyers paying huge amounts of money to get leads from websites. Hoodia-gordoni is another niche, and plenty of niche affiliate marketing programs have developed recently so as to supply weight loss products related to this diet. Other niche affiliate marketing program offers may include unexploited topics from the medical world or recent technological innovations. Identifying a niche quickly and building up a good site to cover it is a fool-proof success to earning money online.

How to make the most out of free affiliate programs?

Having a good traffic flow on your website is the first and probably the most important step you have to take. Create and interesting website and optimize it for the search engines such as Google, Yahoo or MSN (see our Web Development and Search Engine Optimization guides for more info). Once the traffic is there, you have to create positive copy that also stays objective when presenting a certain service or product. If you are a webmaster and you have just joined a free affiliate program, try to present the benefits of the products your affiliates have, but don't turn your site into a sales pitch. Your web page text is not meant to sell the advertiser's products – it has to get the reader's attention and place them in a “ready to buy” state of mind. The quality of the products or services offered by the company advertising on your website is also vital if you want to make more money online. Offer a high quality informative website with free affiliate program advertisements that promote good services and high quality products, and you are bound to increase your website profits.

Affiliate Marketing Tip - #1 Way to "Capture" Profits

by Nick Bramble

If you have ever tried or are currently trying to succeed with affiliate marketing, I can almost guarantee that your system of trying to make money looks something like this:

1. You decide that you want to make money with affiliate marketing.

2. You sign up free at clickbank

3. You choose the most popular product that you think will make you the most money.

4. You advertise your affiliate link

5. You hope that people join so you can earn money

This is actually what I call the affiliate marketing "Failure Formula." If you try to make money with affiliate marketing following this same failure formula that most people do, you are guaranteed to fail.

While there are dozens of things wrong with the 5 step process above, I will focus on 2 of the main items left out. In fact, it is estimated that only 2% of all people involved in affiliate marketing use the following two steps on a regular basis. It is no surprise though that they are the most successful 2%.

First mistake: In the scenario above, the affiliate link was advertised directly. You never, ever, ever advertise your affiliate link directly. If you want to have any success in affiliate marketing, you MUST get your own url. You can get a URL for under $10 so there is no excuse for not having one.

Nobody, and I mean nobody is going to click on those ugly clickbank links. In fact, it is estimated that you will get as much as 900% more clicks on your link by using a personal url. Think of what an increase in clicks of 900% can do for your bottom line.

So, all you have to do is purchase your own URL for under $10 and then forward it to your affiliate link, right? WRONG!

Having the url is not enough. If you want to build a successful LONTERM affiliate marketing business, you also need a capture page.

Second Mistake: In the scenario above, all traffic was being directed directly to the sales page. So what happens with all of that targeted traffic that you worked so hard to get to your site? Well, one of two things happens. They buy and you make a one time commission on them. Or, most likely, they stay on your site for 30 seconds or less and leave.

In either case, if you are trying to build an affiliate marketing business, you lose out. In the first case you may be thinking, but wait, I earned some money on that person. This is true. But, if you had "captured" that persons name and email address you could be profiting from that person for years and years on multiple products. It is a proven fact that most of the profits made in affiliate marketing on on the "back end" or in "upsells" after somebody buys so you are losing out on tons and tons of money.

In the second case, you just wasted all of your money and time that you spent on advertsing. If you had set up a capture page, you could have captured the name and email of the prospect before they went to the sales page. Then, you could continue to market to them and eventually create a sale. In affiliate marketing, and in marketing in general, it takes on average 7 exposures for people to buy. If you are only giving them one exposure, you are again throwing money out the window.

So, before you get started in affiliate marketing, it is absolutely necessary to have two things:

1. Your own personal URL (should be specific to the types of products you are promoting).

2. Your own capture page that collects the name and email of visitors BEFORE they go to the sales page. This not only builds a targeted list for you, but it allows you to create more sales, back end sales, up sales, and offer additional products in the future.

Success in affiliate marketing is about making money with the same list over and over again.

Remember, those experiencing the most success in affiliate marketing are doing the 2 things above. Don't reinvent the wheel. Affiliate marketing is much, much easier when you follow the successful systems that have already been proven for you.

What Are The Best Types Of Products To Promote As An Affiliate?

by James Woolley

Think of any product nowadays and you can be pretty sure there's an affiliate program attached where you can earn commissions on any sales of that product that you may make as an affiliate. But with all this choice how do you decide which products you should be promoting?

As a list owner, I get asked this type of question quite a lot by my subscribers, and my answer is always the same. Rather than chase those products with high commissions, I recommend starting off my promoting products that offer commissions on a recurring basis. Classic examples of such products include autoresponders, web hosting services, and membership sites.

These sites will generally pay you a certain percentage in commission for every person you sign up and for every month they remain a member. So therefore, you can see that by promoting these types of products, you can create a constant residual income for yourself every single month, with no extra effort needed on your part.

The great thing about these types of products, particularly autoresponders and web hosting providers, is that if you can find and promote really top quality providers, you will find that very few members will change to a different provider because they are so happy with their current service. So you can potentially earn recurring monthly commissions for many years.

Compare this with the one-time commission that the vast majority of companies pay out and you can see exactly why I recommend that you find products that pay out recurring commissions. Sure you can promote products that pay one-time commissions, but make sure that you spend at least some of your time promoting products that offer you a recurring residual income, so you know you have a steady monthly income coming in in future months.

Other products that I recommend you promote are those that pay commissions on a two-tier basis. By that I mean products that pay out not only a commission for each direct sale you make, but also pay you a set commission on any sales that your customers may make.

For example, let's say you are promoting a product that costs $100, and which pays out 30% commission on every sale you make, and 10% on any sales your customers make. So in this case you can see that not only can you make $30 per sale, but you also earn $10 for every sale your customers make as an affiliate, so again your chances of earning additional income are greatly enhanced, with no extra effort needed on your part.

So to sum up, and to answer the original question, in my opinion the best types of products to promote as an affiliate are those that offer recurring commissions, or those that provide additional income opportunities such as two-tier commissions. These types of programs require the same level of effort to promote as products that pay one-time commissions, yet can offer far greater financial rewards.

How You Can Overcome Affiliate Marketing Failure Starting Right Now!

by Liz Tomey

Affiliate marketing is a field that has become more and more attractive to people. It is a wonderful way to make money equivalent to a full-time job at home via the internet. It is beneficial to both merchants and marketers alike. However, there are strategies that should be employed to be successful. Unfortunately, too many jump in without knowing just what can cause them to fail.

The first problem many people run into is advertising. Many marketers believe that affiliate programs will help them to "get rich quick" and they fail to put in the effort required to succeed. Advertising, however, is the most important thing you can do in any business. You cannot rely on luck alone. Because of the competition in affiliate marketing, it is imperative that sites be appealing and informative to keep a visitor's attention, eventually making the sale.

Another reason many people fail at affiliate marketing is a lack of preparation. Research is involved as the affiliate must be knowledgeable about the product he is trying to sell. It helps to be interested in the products you are trying to sell. This interest will help keep you focused during slower periods. It will also make it easier for you to spend the time on learning all you can about the product and keeping updated on changes related to the product and/or industry. Remember that you will be providing information to potential customers and must be as knowledgeable as possible.

Along with lack of preparation when it comes to product knowledge, many people fail to prepare for their website. Your website is the core of your affiliate marketing business. You need to plan the layout, domain, content, and ads that will be included. Remember that you never get a second chance to make a first impression. Visitors may leave your site without even looking at your products if you do not have an attractive homepage. Also keep in mind that visitors are looking for information. Provide interesting, relevant content that includes plenty of keywords to help your search results. Finally, keep in mind that you are going to have to prepare to continually update your site to keep visitors coming back again and again.

Above everything else, do not close yourself to more learning. There is always something to learn in affiliate marketing. Whether you are studying up on techniques to increase visitor hits or ways to increase the attractiveness of your site, or simply increase your product knowledge, you are making an investment in yourself and your future. Those who are able to maintain success for the long haul are those who are willing to put in that time and energy.

Whatever happens, do not give up. It is not easy to find quick success with little work. This is no "get rich quick" plan. Keep trying and consider selecting a different program if the one you first doesn't work for you. There's no shame in that. Remember, with effort and perseverance, you are on your way to success!

Building Your Affiliate Web Site Effortlessly

by Richard Trice

There are various beliefs in building an affiliate web site, which draw a lot of men and women to it believing they are fact. First is, they believe having an online business is effortless, and second, they think that one can create a fortune through online merchandising in an instant. The reality is that not even 10% of those who are into affiliate marketing became rich immediately.

There may be a few who fortunately achieved astronomical success in a short period of time after setting up an affiliate web site, but not a large number of them can truthfully say they just had pure luck. Anyone who is prosperous in this type of endeavor would say they worked diligently to get to where they are right now. Success with affiliate web site marketing takes time and persistent labor, but it's worth it.

If you are deciding whether to build an affiliate web site, one of the things you have to think about is having your own web site, not simply an everyday affiliate marketing web site program, but a professional looking one.

How do you set up an affiliate web site? What are the foolproof steps to setting one up?

First, you should have already decided on the subject or niche of your affiliate web site. It would be best if you already possess a notion of what affiliate web site marketing or services to promote as this would assist in how you plan the design and lay-out of your affiliate web site.

The next thing to do is to decide on a domain name and get it hosted. The domain name is a unique name used to identify the actual address of your affiliate web site on the Internet.

In deciding what domain address to secure, look into the type of merchandise you are endorsing and the subject of your affiliate web site. Having the perfect keywords in your domain name would give you a better likelihood of attracting more visitors to your website.

You should attempt to choose a top level domain, such as .com as they are more common. In selecting your web host, think about the security of your affiliate web site, servers and up time guarantees.

Building Your Affiliate Web Site

Now, you can begin creating your affiliate web site. Don't be discouraged if you understand very little about affiliate web site marketing. There are numerous page creation tools and quick launch sites accessible online; you simply need to search for them. Numerous online sources could help you set up an affiliate web site marketing program, even though you might require time to study and understand the entire technique.

This is one of the reasons why your site or the products you are thinking to market must match your interest. Building your affiliate web site for the first time would be a lot more fun if you understand very well the subject of your site. If you don't have time to build your own affiliate web site, you can use templates or buy readily available websites. The latter, though, is a more costly alternative.

Creating an affiliate web site on your own would be cheaper and entirely more interesting. In the process of building your web site, you may also broaden your knowledge in Information Technology and the use of computers, software and the Internet.

As you develop yourself in these fields, you are increasing your dominance against other affiliate web site marketing superstars. It helps a lot, especially, if you previously know the fundamentals in web page development like programming languages and graphics software because you can make your site more corporate-looking, more advantageous to use or easier to get around. Furthermore, if you are knowledgeable and skillful in this area, you can immediately concentrate more on the content of the page rather than the lay out.

The secret to attracting traffic to your affiliate web site is to maintain high quality content; thus, the main objective you should pay attention to in building your affiliate web site is this. There may be a few other factors that contribute to the prosperity of your affiliate web site marketing program, but great content tops the shopping list. This is exactly the reason why users prefer to enter your site. They desire to get knowledge and so when they don't find it, they would undoubtedly go somewhere else.

Write stimulating articles related to your theme as this would make them more likely to frequent your affiliate web site. If you have previously looked for affiliate web site marketing programs that complement your site, add links to your business sites and other very good educational sites, then article are the best source. Links to your affiliate web site contribute to how well you shall be listed in major search engines as well.

Create product relevant pages, and don't just try to sell the products by putting up over-hyped ads, keep your readers attracted by injecting lots of relevant and valuable information. This would make them click the links to the business sites and buy the products. Bear in mind that really bad content equates to non-repeat visitors, no sales and in the end, no commissions.

Make your affiliate web site basic, yet not without a feel of class, in order to give it a more business appearance rather than personal. This would be pleasing to the eyes and more exciting to browse. To assist you with the lay out, you can scan some successful online stores to get an idea on how you can make your affiliate web site marketing program appear better than the others online.

Make certain you don't position too many banner ads since these could sidetrack some site users; and therefore, instead of clicking your ad, they may just leave your site and look for other interesting websites. After all, banner ads are not the one and only means of advertising your products. When your affiliate web site is finished, submit its URL to major search engines to increase your traffic.

The best thing to do to ensure your affiliate marketing success is to mature from where you started. Learn about the use of keywords for search engine optimization and apply them in your affiliate web site marketing program and its content. Overhaul your site constantly or add new web pages. Make sure to tell your prospects about the current updates in your site. You can use newsletters to accomplish this. The Internet offers a vast source of information concerning just about anything, make use of it. Continue to teach yourself on how to improve your affiliate web site and before long you'll find yourself successful in affiliate marketing.

Affiliate Marketing Versus Network Marketing - Which is Better

by Gary Ruplinger

When it comes to making money online, a lot of people wonder if they should go with affiliate

marketing or network marketing. If you talk to an affiliate marketer, they’ll probably tell you that affiliate marketing is the best way to go. If you talk to a network marketer, they’ll certainly tell you that network marketing is definitely your best bet.

I’ve done both, and I’ll tell you the answer – it depends. Each has its advantages and disadvantages. Fortunately, you can make money with both.

Since affiliate marketing is a bit simpler, let’s cover that one first. With affiliate marketing whenever you sell a product for someone else, you get paid a commission. The commission varies depending on the company, but 30-50% is common in the information product business. For physical products, 10-20% is typical.

All you need to do is refer the business and you’re responsibility is done. The owner of the product takes care of the fulfillment and customer service. All you need to worry about is making sales to get paid.

Network marketing is a little different. In network marketing, you make money not only on the sales you make directly, but you also profit when the people underneath you sell something and you profit when the people under them sell something as well. (The number of levels down varies by company but they all usually go at least three levels deep.) The idea of making money on other peoples’ work appeals to a lot of people, which helps explain why network marketing is such a popular business.

At first, it may seem that network marketing is substantially better than affiliate marketing. However, keep in mind that the percentage you make on your own sales in network marketing is substantially lower than the percentage you typically make from affiliate sales.

If you want to make a lot of money with network marketing, you need to do more than just make your own sales. You also need to motivate the people underneath you to make sales and teach them to help their own people make sales. Your role in network marketing isn’t just that of a salesperson. You also need to take on the role of a teacher.

In affiliate marketing, the role of a teacher isn’t necessary. If you don’t want to worry about having to motivate other people to take action, then affiliate marketing is probably a better choice for you since you’ll only be depending on what you do to make money.

If you enjoy teaching and working with people, then network marketing is probably the better choice for you to make.

Either way, you’re making a choice that can make you plenty of money if you’re willing to put the time and effort in.
